About Triggre

Triggre is a no-code development platform that helps all kinds of organizations build business applications without any programming knowledge: warehouse management, logistic routing, customer portals or completely automated processes, anything is possible with Triggre!

Triggre takes care of all the technical programming that can make building applications very complex, allowing creators to build powerful business critical applications in a visual drag-and-drop designer without any code. The interface includes wizard tools that guide creators through the building process, built-in security that protects the applications against threats, and automatic testing to make sure applications work correctly. Triggre also offers an API, which enables businesses to integrate the application with other systems, such as Zapier, JIRA, Gmail, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Dropbox.

Triggre has a dedicated learning platform that allows users to master the ins and outs in a fun, easy way using video material, online exercises and awesome challenges. There's also an extensive knowledge base, an FAQ directory, and an online creator community .

In Triggre, no-code actually means no-code

As a Citizen Development evangelist I have become a real fan of Triggre when it comes to non-programming business users building their own applications. It is really easy to create something that works in no time at all. From an IT perspective it offers built-in governance by shielding all options that could destabilize an IT environment or create technical security risks. This means managing a Triggre environment within your organization is really easy. For customer facing deployment it is recommended to use one of the the more extensive versions for the better user interface options.

Pros:

The most appealing feature of Triggre actually is what you don't see. Setting-up an application in Triggre litterally means "start building". No need to run through hundreds of options when you are building. Just build. Another big pro is that Triggre handles all the checking and optimizing and clearly indicates where something has gone wrong, before you deploy. So really, you can't break anything. Another nice surprise was the performance. I've made some pretty complex queries and joints, but Triggre seems to have no trouble with them at all. Last but not least the friendly pricing and licensing model of Triggre make the platform also very attractive for mid-sized enterprises and SME's, that can quickly build full applications, without having to make large up-front investments.

Cons:

The limited options in shaping the UI has its' advantages, but also limits the options to create a really user friendly application. That is something they are working on, so I believe this will improve in time. To build complex features, more in-depth knowledge is necessary, since documentation is not yet complete. Then having some programming knowledge still comes in handy. Finally, when the data-model becomes more extensive, the graphical interface tends to become a bit more 'messy'. That is something they should work on in the future.

Reasons for choosing Triggre

Actually I didn't. We chose Triggre to quickly create internal applications for and by business users. We chose another platform as an alternative environment to replace a customer facing application.

uncompromising no code platform for citizen developers

Overall Triggre is for nocode development my first choice.

Pros:

- The intuitive way in wich you can built a nocode web application. - The pricing is very low and the speed of development at least 10 times higher than traditional coding platform. With Triggre tailor made software is affordable for SME's.

Cons:

- You cannot change the look-and-feel (CSS) without coding. - The zapier integration is perfect but there is not really an alternative.

My experience with Triggre.

I am very happy building our application using Triggre. I find it easy to rapidly build an application. And am also very content with all the help we get from the team at Triggre.

Pros:

The fact that we ourselves, the users, can also be the builders of our own tailor-made application. We are constantly improving our application, making changes the same day we need them.

Cons:

Some of the limitations to show information like not being able to use color in text, or directly upload and show videos, or how you present your tales and the layout of a page.

If you own your processes, this is the way to organize your workflows and data.

Triggre is a company that is young, eager and responsive. The reactions on questions are swift. The designers (Guides) have a thorough knowledge of the product. They are of great value if you know that Triggre can do it, but you don't know how yet. Triggre documentation is not complete yet, but they are working on that.

Pros:

You don't need programming skills. Triggre checks your design logically and technically and advises you on errors. You don't use special language, just plain english. You design using a graphical environment: the flow becomes visible and that helps you to get the picture ;-) You can integrate with other systems. You design blocks (flows) that work a but like Lego, so it's easy to connect them and to build and modify the application. You can save 'Versions', so you can go back if something doesn't work the way you expect.

Cons:

You can't back up the data yourself. Triggre does that for you on their system on a daily basis. This means that when you plan a change in the application that might result in unwanted dataloss or datamodification, you must ask Triggre to make a backup for you on the moment you prefer (which they willingly do, of course).

Reasons for switching to Triggre

The PHP system was hard to maintain due to the lack of programmers. We wanted to skip the programming layer and take the system in our own hands. Therefor No Code was a must. Triggre promised easy access, great assistance and good price for value, I found that it's relatively easy to learn. This is especially important because We want our own people to design and use it. They are great in their work, but have no clue of programming.

Future of programming

I started my business making Triggre applications. With the minimal effort that is required to optimise other company's processes it is very fun to make them.

Integrating in my new business was very easy. In fact, i started my business because i love making Triggre applications. It is so easy to use with very powerful tools.

Cons:

Sometimes it is still a bit buggy here and there. Drag and drop to diffrent columns is sometimes a little frustrating, beacause it does not save your progress

Even without any experience Triggre lets you build a complete platform.

We had a clear idea of a perfect platform that fits seamlessly into our organization. However, we have never been able to find that with other providers. With Triggre we were able to build our own perfect platform.

The fact that I, as a business owner without any coding experience, can build a complete platform for my entire organization says enough. I was able to translate our organizational processes into the Triggre platform by creating user flows, automation flows and flow parts. Simply drag and drop the blocks. We were able to combine our CRM, project management, invoicing, HR and customer portal in one platform.

Cons:

There were some specific wishes that only Triggre’s support team could take care of. But they offered very quick support and handled it professional.

Powerful NoCode Tool for Building Business Applications

Pros:

The platform has a lower learning curve than other NoCode tools and its focus on building workflow solutions makes it a great choice for many business oriented applications.

Cons:

There's a smaller community of users but that's probably because of the business oriented focus as opposed to other NoCode tools that are more focused on the maker community.
