An allied tool for students

GoodNotes is excellent, it is an essential tool if you are a student and want to optimize your money and time. The interface is great, the personalization in notes is excellent, the price is right, and the handwriting is exquisite. Overall GoodNotes is a 10/10 product, highly recommended.

Pros:

GoodNotes is excellent at what it does, it is a platform for writing notes and documents, but it also has many other features that make the GoodNotes experience even better, such as the ability to easily export from PDF, handwriting with the light pen, the subdivision of banks of notes as if they were notebooks, a large number of pencils and colors that there are, the variety of types and sizes of sheets. In addition, in terms of quality-price, it seems great to me, since, for just a single payment, you can access all the premium features. As a student, I highly recommend it because it is a new way of annotating and summarizing, without having to have many physical notebooks that take up space and cost money.

Cons:

I don't like that it's only exclusively for Apple products, that's my only complaint.

Goodnotes is the best note taking software on iPad. It was so helpful for note taking in college. The best part is you buy the app one time and only need to upgrade every couple years - NO SUBSCRIPTION.

Cons:

I have no complaints with goodnotes. It is fantastic in all ways.

It is easy to understand and use, it keeps evolving and adding more tools. I have changed the way I've been taking notes with this app. It's pretty useful to keep everything organized and pretty.

Cons:

When adding too many images it gets slow. After 1 hour of use, the pen sensibility gets low. Some commands (like adding a photo) requires too many steps so it gets tiring and boring

My digital notebook

It’s a pretty good tool to write down notes and find them again 😊 For me it’s currently the best solution on the market compared to the competitors.

Pros:

I use GoodNotes mainly for writing down notes on my iPad with the Apple Pencil, which works like a charm. The handwritten texts are indexed and can be searched through. Handwriting can also be converted into text.

Cons:

Sometimes it’s not really comfortable to get back to the main overview of quicknotes and documents, as long as there is a unsaved document opened. If other documents are at the same time open in other tabs you can switch between but if I want to open something I’m forced to save the previous document.

GoodNotes feels a bit better and offered a better document structure.

Using on Ipad Pro with Apple Pencil

Overall, it's helpful. I wish it were more customizable, and that saving with a different name was more intuitive, but I'll continue to use it regardless because of how useful it is on a daily basis for me as a therapist.

The ability to hand write directly on PDFs with Pencil is helpful, and the different options for writing are great. Most helpful is that I can have GoodNotes open on my iPad and my Macbook Pro at the same time and they sync almost immediately.

Cons:

There doesn't appear to be the option to have handwriting immediately convert to text. This is the one feature I would love because I can't ever read my own handwriting later on.
