the best software to manage your company's designs

Pros:

This software is very important in my company as it connects Autodesk programs on all PCs for a better relationship of work being done to fix errors immediately. Whether for the designs made, it helps you optimize time and data access control. It's really very good!

Cons:

To date this software has not had any errors, it is going very well for us. If you have an engineering company dedicated to automation or civil structure, this software will help you a lot.

Autodesk Vault

The ability to manage all global Engineering and Manufacturing CAD data as well as other Engineering data in a single globally accessible database allows for more real time engineering and greater collaboration. It also allows for tighter control of user access thru Lifecycles, roles and groups.

Pros:

The ability to have the tool accessible globally with distributed databases (Workgroups) all pointing to a central Publisher allows better stability and usability for large global deployments.

Cons:

When the software re-indexes with a large global database it takes a long time and makes searching difficult. Up until the move to Version 2022 the ownership of files across multiple servers caused many issues but has since been corrected with the 2022 version.
