Excellent Value for the Cost

Overall we have been very satisfied with Easy LMS services. They are prompt to reply to Support tickets, and when we were evaluating other LMSs they were more than willing to meet with our team to discuss which features have our companies looking elsewhere for another solution.

Pros:

Excellent value for the cost. Easy to use User Interface. Does not require a programmer or technical resource to operate the program. Allows multiple Academy sites (multi-brand Support).

Cons:

Reporting is not good. We can almost never extract the data we need to see from the out of the box Reporting functionality. We end up exporting all data (which is a lot) and then manipulating Filters and Sorting in Excel to find what we need. It is a very time-consuming process. Easy LMS also does not offer a "choose your own adventure" type of Course, where based on the Users answers they could be served a different set of materials. We would very much like to tailor the Learning path based on the Users prior responses.

Reasons for choosing Easy LMS

Cost effectiveness. The product has the core functionality we were looking for. I do wish we would have explored the Reporting more as that is the most cumbersome part for us. Creating a new export of all data every time and then trying to manipulate filters in Excel is not ideal.

Pros:

I appreciate that I'm able to build exams and then use and re-use the questions in other exams without a "rewrite". My customers have ready access to my Easy LMS content

Cons:

I would have liked to have clearer analytics on student performance, specifically, to be able to search by groups (like @customersite.com) rather than by individuals.

Price, flexibility, and the ability to establish a long-term relationship without them changing the nature of the relationship constantly.

Continuing Education Exams Review

It used to take me 1-2 hrs a day to deal with completed exams, and now it takes about 5 minutes of data transfer. Also the exam takers get instant feed back of answers to questions and results with a certificate, which is just great.

Pros:

Easy LMS grades over 700 exams a month, and provides a proof of completion certificate, with no effort on my part. I also have a daily spreadsheet where I can easily see all results, with time stats and all exam data.

Cons:

Not really a con, but the platform is complex and takes a bit to figure out how to use it. So like any platform once you know where to find things it runs smoothly.

Responsive and supportive software

I've worked with ELMS for 3+ years. During that time their product has continued to evolve and develop. The support provided to customers has improved over time. This is all the more impressive given that the price point for the product has remained competitive in the marketplace. I am very satisfied with my experience with ELMS.

Pros:

Personable support from the developers, who are keen to engage and work with clients to provide a software solution. The software is also easy to use and improving with developments over time.

Cons:

Some of the functionality is restrictive, for my personal use case. However, my use case is a little different from the intended use of the software, so this is not entirely their fault. Also, the control of access could be improved and is a bit tricky to navigate.

It’s got that old style app look but has plenty of features to help you log and keep up with your work

Cons:

The needing of otp’s to be able to close out a jobs work order. Most of the time the tenant has no idea how to find it

Cons:

I don't use any other features like the LMS part as it is not enough developed.

For now the LMS is not ready to integrate exams the way I manage them in Easy LMS

Simple and easy to set up pages that are user friendly and hassle free. Favourite features include automatic marking and customised certificates that can be emailed automatically to the participant.

Cons:

Plan prices increased slowly over the years without adding that many new features. Overall did not affect the value of the product

The academy section with the possibility of managing groups and courses

Cons:

Email customization for subscribers limited to one type of email, there should be the ability to customize the email and send to specific groups. The recovery email should be different from the default one as it is confusing to the recipient because it is the same as the subscription email

Ease of use, cost. It is easy for others to utilize.

Cons:

The content that you attach as a voice recording link is not compatible with common platforms like Audacity. Also would like to see the ability to directly link a recorded presentation through Teams and Power Point to a slide without first loading it to YouTube then linking it to system. Very time consuming.

Would Highly Recommend!

Love the education, sometimes is a little more in depth than clinicians need, but then it also exposes them to the back office POV. I would say it was a great job of putting these modules together! Kudos!

Pros:

Eliminates the redundancy of the clinical supervisor having to repeat these educational pieces. Very nice to just be able to assign these modules and have peace knowing the information is correct.

Cons:

Orientation was brief. Having to figure out the process independently takes a little more time than anticipated.
