Best bang for your buck

Significant cost savings from previous provider. Support/onboarding from executive has been great. Great integrations and willingness from VS to add more integrations.

Standalone URLs aren't "pretty" When exporting photos, it's hard to match up with individual users - would be cool if the file name was the persons email address or some other identifier

Pros:

A researched a lot of platforms and Viralsweep was the only one that really fulfilled my needs. It is easy to implement via wordpress or html (and JS) and it has the funcionalities that I needed (prices with odds and stocks, instant winning, etc).

Cons:

I didn't like the price (I think is a little too much for what I used it) and the way to handle de data bases (I had to cross two different .csv to obtain the whole info of the participants).

Things I found easiest to use about this software are the templates for so many different promotion types, integration of existing software from email to analytics & how easy it was to customize it. The customer support is also very responsive & helpful!

Cons:

Some of the options we would like to further customize our promotions aren't built into this software. It would be nice to be able to have more leeway in how certain options appear.

The ease of use and functionality/stability of VS is so important to use. We run sweepstakes constantly and not having to recreate complex marketing programs each time is important to us.

Cons:

Comparatively, the price is a little high as we have tested and used others in the past but the price isn't high enough that I would be willing to switch,

Great Tool to Gain Followers and Content

I am able to host a giveaway and meet several KPIs: follower, email, content and engagement growth. I used Viral Sweep at my previous company as well.

-Ease of use: the platform is pretty straightforward and easy for any team to understand, set up and implement -Great value: for the variety of goals available, Viral Sweep has been great. -Customizable- I like that the product is customizable and can be integrated onto our website

Cons:

-Missing functions: I have had to "hack" some of the plugins to achieve some of the goals I wanted because the functions were not available like "follow us on instagram" I would just change the text to say that so they thought they has to follow to get an additional entry but really I had no way to track it. Its ok though, I still see value.

Pros:

Love the different options for installing the sweepstakes. Love the ability to track facebook comments for specific amounts of time. This is especially useful for our users guessing scores to sporting events up until the start of the game. I love the ability to customize the layout and look of the sweepstakes.

Cons:

Aspect ratios of the images for sweepstakes are locked into a specific ratio. If I upload an image that doesn't meet the exact dimensions it stretches or warps the image.

First Impressions

I have doubled my email subscriber list in a month. I do not know the value of the additional emails collected but I tried to give away a product that my shoppers would like therefore they are potential shoppers. As I do more of these I am sure I will better know the long term benefits and can comment again.

Pros:

I really like the integration flexibility with social media and other applications especially Klayvio. I have collected over 1000 new subscribers to my newsletter in a month doing a single giveaway which is something I wish to repeat monthly. The set up is easy and it's easy to manage. I will be doing our first drawing on the 1st of September and it's literally a click of a button.

Cons:

I think there are a few things that I would like to see upgraded. I think that the basic package should have Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics integration as a Standard. Those are basic basic things that would definitely provide value. The jump in price to get those two things (which is all I would want) is just too steep. I also think the page layout for the image files is weird. It would be better to have a single column with the image at top or bottom then a smaller picture and a right column that extends off-page just bad overall graphic design ( I am a designer so just giving my opinion. ) Finally, One thing I didn't understand is in my analytics reports I am seeing a ton of traffic driven by ViralSweep? How is this happening? Do you promote the contest or is it because of a redirect that I am seeing it? It would be nice to see or know what that is.

Pros:

As a PR agency owner, we’ve used Viralsweep for multiple different brands and reasons, and we’re always happy at the end. I especially like how you can put your account your account on pause so you’re not wasting unnecessary budget in months a campaign isn’t planned.

Cons:

I honestly don’t think there are many cons? I’ve never struggled with anything from ease of use to final product!
