    Pros:
For more than 10 years we were using VMware in our server infrastructure. It is easy to deploy and can deploy on-premise as well as cloud platforms giving extensibility and scalability across hybrid clouds. In our environment Production, DR, DMZ, test segments are managed from a single location thanks to vcenter architecture. Delegation of activities across the server administrators are painless due to VM infrastructure
    Cons:
Some functions were not available on the new html5 web client compared to the previous flash-based application version. Further, Vcenter has limits on the NICs. 1 GB NIC Allows only 4 VMotion operations at a time. It is better if they can improve the update manager in a more detailed manner.

    Pros:
virtual center is the central management platform for the vsphere infrastructure and is the best product in its class since well more than a decade. All hosts, even residing in different locations are managed centrally from a single console, which lets you deploy their configuration centrally, manage upgrades, network settings, storage settings and move and balance workloads in clusters automatically
    Cons:
the major downside of virtual center has been vmware ditching the virtual center client for the web-based one. The legacy client was a great piece of software, fast and responsive, which offered excellent overview of the infrastructure. The web client, instead, is slow and confusing.

It is a single pane of glass for your VMWare environment: manage your entire VMWare compute farm with multiple sites and clusters in one place. You can manage everything from single VM setup to cluster behavior to DR behavior.
    Cons:
From a software perspective, for years VMWare servers become unmanaged if a storage admin removes even unused storage before an ESX host detaches it. It should be able to handle it. That's more of and ESX issue, not vCenter per se.
