Amazon EC2 vs vSphere: Which is best for you?

When I shift to ec2, it had many features like security groups, auto scaling and load balancer which made my application highly available and it was cost effective.

Occasionally, I will have to stop/start an instance because the underlying host has an issue.

vSphere is a robust solution for virtualization offering features such as vMotion for live migration of virtual machines, although costly, ease of use and scalability are just a few reasons why vSphere is worth the price.

Licensing and implementation can be on the more expensive side for smaller businesses.
