ThinApp is an application virtualization platform that streamlines app delivery and management. IT departments use ThinApp to combine applications, including those that cannot be packaged with the ThinApp package, into virtual apps that can be centrally managed. Virtual applications are run locally through sandboxing to prevent security issues from damaging the OS and other apps. ThinApp works with Windows Server 2008 R2 Terminal Services (Terminal Services) and App-V 5.0 deployment services to allow users to run virtualized apps or unpackaged EXEs.
