About Virtual Desktops

Evolve IP Desktop as a Service (DaaS) is a cloud-hosted virtual desktop solution that helps businesses of all sizes streamline processes related to remote working. It comes with built-in antivirus and malware protection tools, ensuring a secure user experience.

Evolve IP DaaS's PC over IP (PCoIP) delivery protocol enables users to access local USB peripherals from a centralized platform. Administrators can utilize the dashboard to view, track and manage connected devices, exchange servers, workstations and network devices. Additionally, professionals can use gold pattern desktop, the master desktop image, to configure user-specific DaaS settings and manage applications.

Evolve IP DaaS facilitates integration with several internal and third-party applications, including Evolved Office Applications, Microsoft Office Standard and SharePoint. It extends support via documentation, phone and email.

It is easily extensible and there are no asset costs related to it. It is easy to spin up and spin down new machines. All of the CPU/Memory is dedicated and not shared.
      Cons:
It is difficult to configure individual machines easily for different needs. For example, increasing the memory on one machine requires numerous changes and must be done through Evolve IP

      Great for Remote Access!

      4

My overall experience has been positive so far. We have only used the free trial version as of now but plan to get a full subscription. It's easy to use and does everything it's supposed to do. I have never had any problems remotely accessing my devices from home. It quickly connects and you're good to go.

      Pros:
Evolve IP (Virtual Desktop) is a great program that allows you or someone else to access your devices. I like that it's very quick and simple to share your screen or to give access to a co-worker. I am a teacher who uses their personal desktop computer in the classroom. I installed this software on my personal computer and my computer at home. I can easily access my computer at work from home with a simple click of a button. If my computer is acting up, I can easily give IT access to my computer so they can fix the problem. I no longer have to drive down to the Board of Education to have my device fixed. I can just send an email, and open the software, and our IT department can look into the problem remotely. The software interface is simple. It can easily be figured out within seconds. Doesn't take valuable time to learn how to use the software.
      Cons:
One of the cons I would like to mention is scammers. I have never had this problem but have heard stories about scammers gaining access to victims' computers using this software and others like it. If you are using remote access software like Evolve IP, never give anyone access that you do not personally trust.
