About CodeNOW

CodeNOW is an application development solution that helps businesses create, deploy, monitor and maintain the health of web applications via a unified platform. It enables software developers to streamline the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps operations using a microservice architecture.

It allows managers to allocate resources, track projects, configure workflows, conduct audits and monitor continuous integration (CI) pipelines via a unified platform. It offers a variety of features such as source code management (SCM), system monitoring, distributed tracing, analytics and more. Additionally, CodeNOW lets administrators gain insights into IT infrastructures, system health, applications and their components and automatically track vulnerabilities.

CodeNOW comes with an API, which facilitates integration with several third-party platforms such as GitLab, PostgreSQL, SonarQube, Redis, Terraform and more. Pricing is available on a monthly subscription and support is extended via phone, email, documentation and other online measures.

Using CodeNOW daily

As you can read, we love the ability of our agency to host and spin new apps instantly in a language we master.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike and support responses were always instant.

Focus on development and operations and let CodeNow take care of the rest

While running tens of applications under load in production, you almost do not need a DevOps person. It's reliable. It's easy to use.

Pros:

Just create an application and its components, assign them resources, set up number of instances in clusters, and CodeNow will take care of the rest in a production sufficient way. But still, you can go bellow the cover, and alter Helm chart, define Tekton pipelines, define custom Grafana dashboars, watch and execute in K8s clusters using Lens, and so on. Support is fast, and very helpful with set up of scenarios specific to your application. You can propose and vote for new features, and they are delivered.

Cons:

I would welcome saving log queries for the current user or team.

Using CodeNow for development of our new e-commerce platform allowed us to keep multi vendor development under control, which was one of the main parameters why we decided for CodeNow. Thanks to features of CodeNow we reached required level of speed and scalability of development, which was the second parameter.
