Expert ETL tool to process huge data

Overall experience is very good, we enjoyed a lot working with tool. as we are ready with the cost incurred on it so we used it well. Now working with large load of data very efficiently. Decision making is also improved with the help of Informatica.

1. Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services has huge user base. 2. Process of making building pipeline is very straight forward process. 3. Debugging mode really play a great role while searching for issue. 4. Good support provided for Control-M, python, shell script to manage workflow trigger easily. 5. Good cost effective cloud solution available in market.

Cons:

1. It is totally paid application, you need to invest into it in order to take benefits from this application. 2. Little bit costly as compared to other tools. 3. Error messages should be more clear in order to deal with them. 4. It fails to implement complex SQL queries.

Pros:

The number of other ERP platforms that can be integrated with Informatica Intelligent Cloud make it the best option for a company like ours. We use several different ERP systems and bringing all that data into one central location is make easier with Informatica. Being able to map different data sets is one of my favorite features.

Cons:

A little harder to setup than other products but worth the effort. A little on the expensive side, Informatica costs a little more than other solutions but offers many features that aren't offered by competing products.

Pros:

If you can think it up, Informatica can almost certainly accomplish it. It is an incredibly powerful data tool. I use it pull data out of various databases, load data into various databases via various data sources (API, files, etc.), and transform data source files. It can be used for a myriad of other purposes. The ability to schedule jobs is exceptionally helpful and is a time saver. The company is very good about notifying about service disruptions (which are very rare).

Cons:

Learning the peculiarities of Informatica can be challenging. It requires to knowing what to search for online. There are some decent resources provided by Informatica but they could be improved. Front-line customer service can be somewhat lacking.
