Quick, simple implementation

We originally picked this up with the intention of giving us a more reliable means of notifying users of system issues when email was unavailable. We have since introduced the product to our HR and Compliance departments and will soon roll it out to our branch managers.

Pros:

This was probably the fastest implementation I've ever done. We were up and running in less than a day. Training my users was less than 20 minutes.

Cons:

I'd like to see better integration with Active Directory and AAD in particular.

Pros:

What I like most about AlertMedia is the ease of sending alerts through both the desktop and phone app. When seconds count, you don't have time to fool around with an awkward app.

Cons:

AlertMedia does everything we need. We have not found any problems with the platform yet.

Cons:

I sometimes see errors such as a message did not delivered to everyone

Top Notch Customer Service & Product

The other three companies seemed to be better suited toward marketing needs or quick, but minor, notifications. We needed a reliable and easy critical comms system - AlertMedia checked all of our needs and wishlist items.

Alert Media has been an important partner for us as we manage myriad critical situations in our workplace -- everything from power outages to healthcare clinics for our residents. I particularly like the fact that the mobile app is identical to the desktop app.

Cons:

Alert Media can be expensive and you need to ensure that you don't exceed your limits for texts or voicemail minutes. The overage charges came as a surprise to me -- no one ever provided advanced notice that we were exceeding our limits until it was too late!

Reasons for switching to AlertMedia

Smart Notice was more cumbersome to use and the mobile app was unreliable.

1. The ability to set up flexible preset messages. If there's an emergency, you can save significant time by having everything you need ready to go. Also nice that there's the option for repeated reminders until the receiver confirms they've read the message. 2. The option to blast out to a variety of platforms (e.g., call, text, desktop computer, email) to ensure you're meeting people where they are.

Cons:

Excited for them to build out more proactive alerts and support.

Very impresssed with the product and service and the 24 hour help desk! The product can be utilized in many different ways and the help desk is always around to assist. I have spoken to many of our clients and they feel that the product has chacnged the way they respond to emergencies and provides updated information that can be passed on to our clients.

I like that it's constantly evolving. The user interface, custom admin roles and the maps are becoming easier and easier to use. The customer success team and the entire AlertMedia staff is simply the best you will ever work with.

Cons:

Wish you could do everything from your phone or an iPad that you can do from your computer.

From [sensitive content hidden]'s Intel and Threat reports, the weather threats, the podcasts run by [sensitive content hidden], the quick responsiveness and the tailoring capacity are fantastic. in a time when it matters the most, the tooling is helping us reach our employees in real time.

Big AlertMedia fan!

I've only worked with AlertMedia for 2.5 years and it is the second platform I've used to track employees and send alerts. It has been a great experience so far, however. I especially love working with the staff.

Pros:

The AlertMedia employees are some of the most helpful and nicest people I've ever worked with. Customer service is great! The product itself is just as great (user-friendly, lots of practical features, and reliable).

Cons:

It's still missing some features that would help make my job using it more efficient, but I know that they are always improving and adding features.
