About myKidzDay

myKidzDay is a cloud-based daycare solution designed for teachers, parents and daycare owners. The solution provides communication between parents and childcare providers. Key features include reporting, attendance management, daily reports, notifications and alerts, documents sharing and classroom management.

myKidzDay allows teachers to deliver electronic daily reports, notifications, pictures, documents, videos, assessments and other information to parents. Teachers can use customized report templates to share information. Parents can access the daycare information and review newsletters and schedules as well. Daycare owners and directors can monitor parent-teacher communication that helps in staff and family management. myKidzDay allows owners to take health assessments and maintain allergy records.

Meals can also be tracked using this solution. myKidzDay offers services on a per child per month subscription basis and support is provided via email and over the phone. Mobile apps are available for Android as well as iOS users.

Pros:
I love this app, as I am able to check in with my kids after school, during school and even during this summer camps that’s going on.
Cons:
Something I don’t like is why my kids last school didn’t use this app, as it’s great and smooth. It’s crazy more people don’t use it

Misleading Sales and Poor Customer Support – Be Cautious

My experience with myKidzDay was deeply disappointing. The app didn’t live up to its promises, and within two days I knew it wasn’t right for my daycare. I tried to resolve things respectfully, asking for a refund or even partial credit, but was met with cold, dismissive communication. Instead of accountability or empathy, I was accused of harassment for simply following up. It’s sad to see a company prioritize money over integrity and genuine customer care.

The idea sounded great at first — a platform to connect with families easily and share updates quickly. The sales pitch was confident and made the app seem professional and simple to use.
Cons:
The app didn’t deliver what was promised. It felt miniature, unprofessional, and not user-friendly. Support was dismissive when I asked for help, and communication felt cold and uncaring.

After 3 years from Management perspective

Overall, I have used MyKidzDay for 3 years for summer camp management. I love how easy it is to contact the service app and assistance. I also like that the layout is user friendly. I wish that the director profile was accessible within the app. It is frustrating that I have to manage the Director page only on webpage. Also, parents sometimes complain about the barcode not working with androids. Older phone models have issues with the app.

I love the communicate factor. It is very easy for the staff members to see who has messaged and when.
Cons:
I do not like that the parents are unable to customize their own information. It would be very helpful if parent could update contact information, pick up authorization list and contact pictures.

I really like the incident report feature and that it is sent to the director for approval before the parents!
Cons:
The difference between parent chat and when you send to parents. Parents can’t respond to the “To parents” tab and I wish they could.

We like the ease of messaging families directly. We also love using the app for attendance and tracking.
Cons:
We wish there was font options in messaging. We frequently send reminders about upcoming events and important dates. Being able to bold or underline or highlight would be a huge improvement for us!

When I first learned about myKidzDay, it was so easy to use. I enjoyed the staff management. Being able to manage the attendance in a timely manner. Being about to manage the classrooms with ease was a definite plus. When I was a parent I loved being able to communicate with the teachers through the app. It was so easy to let the staff know about absences or tardiness. It's also easy to explain to new parents how to use.
Cons:
There was really nothing that I liked least about myKidzday. I can not find anything wrong with myKidzday.

I have had a great experience with MyKidzDay. It allows me to see if the education staff is checking the children in daily. It also let me see if a child still remains in the building and to follow up with the staff if a child remains at the end of the day or if we need to reach out to a parent.
Cons:
Cons: that the system does not have it by class or ABC order. It does have the parent name set up that way however larger sites would prefer it by classroom or the children's name in ABC order not the parent. Caseworkers should have able to enter this information in your system not just the managers.

Customer service is always great, staff and parents love how easy navigating the app is! Communication with parents is easy and simple. I never have any bug or issues with the app that need to be resolved.
Cons:
The ability to only post 4-5 pictures under each category, but most times we use different categories to post remaining pictures from the same activity!
