    The system is highly configurable so processes can be customized in ACE to match your needs and current processes. We actually use the system internally to manage our own training and Quality processes. So, I have been the user in that sense and have always found ACE to be very user friendly.
    Cons:
    Some people may not want to set up their configurations and validate them themselves, but PSC Software does offer services to configure and validate these items for your company if that is the case!

    An economic option and great for small companies that are implementing an eQMS for the first time. Great for companies that are just looking for an eDMS.
    Cons:
    Improvement needed in the more advanced eQMS features that go beyond document control, such as the audit module. Allowance for more customization would be appreciated.

    ACE is a great multi faceted experience with ACE Sign, LMS, Docs and inspection, I find myself leaving the software for other tools less and less

    ACE Implementation and Features

    We have been configuring ACE with the intention to use the application for Quality Assurance process. While the PSC team has been very responsive and approachable, they need improved technical writers, a stronger project management (to include communications) team and above all they need Business Analysis skills. The product is a good application with huge potential to be used in Audit, Inspection, Quality and CAPA managements spaces. The easily configurable nature of ACE, combined with their Analytic Reporting capability and collaborative functions makes ACE a very good product.

    ACE is an easily implementable SaaS application. The user interfaces, features and response time is really good. ACE has a lot of configurable attributes which makes it very flexible. ACE has very good collaborative functions. The features are an endless possibility: - Chat functionality - Group chat per record and custom defined groups with history - Ease of creation and transitioning of records and capture of data - Acts a good document repository - Configurable workflows - Live Scribe and saved Scribe notes feature - Very succinct and user friendly dashboard - Strong Analytics reporting capability with export functionality - Step-wise configurable inapp notifications and email notifications - Task alerts - Role based access restrictions and permissions - Audit Trail - API The Implementation team is very knowledgeable and responsive.
    Cons:
    Product implementation: the Implementation process needs vast improvements - the team requires a Business Analyst dedicated to every implementation. They need a professional technical writer and solution architecture. The team communications and project management needs vast improvements. The company needs a product roadmap that needs to be published and a process to elicit product improvements from their clientele. ACE: The tool is great but they need the following basic improvements: - a robust and above par PDF rendition capability - Customization Dashboard (to include company specific branding) - Customization of system notifications (to include company branding and remove ACE) - Alerts for Group Chat - Intuitive record creation and parent-child relational DB structure - more configurable permissions around Scribe functionality

    A relatively simple QMS system to use

    This is the first QMS system I have used. Initially, it seems difficult but after some time, it becomes easier.

    This QMS feels like a form-based system where users populate information into the blank space. It can be quite easy to use when information required is conspicuously requested. Document links It is a web-based software with a relatively fast response after clicking 'submit' button. Takes about 1-2 months (daily usage) to be acquainted with the software. Specific to QMS and QMS-related activities only.
    Cons:
    Some functions, e.g. specific document search can be tricky for new users. It needs guidance from an experienced user. It would be helpful if there is a drop down quick help box instead of going through the Help Section and to find yourself in a big pool of information (which you need to search again). Drop down menu only shows document ID. Sometimes it is not possible to remember the title of the document which is associated with the document ID. Would be very helpful if the drop down document ID options also shows part of the document title to facilitate selection.

    I have had nothing but great experience with ACE since we first implemented out first workflow in January of 2016. There were many people who were not comfortable with it, but have adjusted and cannot believe we were without it. PSC Biotech has been an essential part of our growth. They are always willing to help and have taken the time to explain on how to code workflows, or special requests.

    This is something that I like the least, but think it would be great to have: drag and drop when creating workflows instead of using the variables.

    I love the interface, it's minimal, but has a logical progression where every detail I need is quickly accessed.
    Cons:
    I would like to see a module that anticipates an asset management deployment, and calibration/PM scheduling requirements. This is all configurable, but that may not be apparent to new administrators where the LMS system and document/project pieces are very apparent.

    Enormous increase in efficacity to manage documents. Easy to obtain KPIs. Standardization of our proesses. No loss of documents. Better awareness and oversight on the quality system.

    Ease to use Dashboards and direct status of each documents and workflows Cloud based
    Cons:
    Configuration is not simple in order to have workflows that are fully GMP. For example many attempts were required to configure a workflow that would prevent an action from being completed before another one was, possibility to change due dates by users, etc. In GMP, this is important and the configuration of ACE is not easy in that sens. Our system is not yet fully GMP in that aspect.

    Utilzed to develop and publish SOP's, training management, policy reviews and publishing. I worked on front end configuration, and even developed a continuous, real time employee performance review framwork that preserves supervisor/employee conversations and was (of course) paperless.
