Axex by Unident Software Company is a hybrid cloud-based suite of solutions designed for dental professionals and practices. It allows users to schedule appointments, submit e-claims, manage accounting details, process payments, and examine charts and images.
Through the FastCHART tool, users can enter performed and planned procedures and eliminate paper charts. The block scheduling feature creates appointment and recalls, and multiple operatories can be created for each chair or doctor. Users can create individual treatment plans for each patient and allow them to sign agreements electronically on tablets; medical histories are stored with complete prescription histories, vital statistics, lab reports, progress notes, and insurance information; and x-rays are available on tablets to show patients chairside.
In addition to the ability to electronically file claims and pre-authorizations, Axex provides multiple reports to help practices see their office’s patient and procedure data. The solution is available on a monthly subscription basis.

When I started working at the practice I am currently at, I was very pleased to go from paper to paperless with ease. I was afraid it would take a long time to get used to working on an iPad instead of paper or PC. I caught on within the first week of using it! It just makes sense. I have been using this software for about six months now and so far I have really liked it. It is very easy to learn and I love that we can look up a patient's chart quickly instead of looking through paper charts.

I have been working with this product for over 2 years now and it was so easy to learn how to use. The use of icons for the different parts of the chart is awesome. The customer service when there is a problem is great, and the issue is resolved quickly.
Very easy to learn where everything is.
I wish there was a way to search for an appointment time rather than click on and have to look through every day one at a time.

When I started at the current office I'm working at, I had to learn a new software program. The program was axex. At first, I was aftraid that I wouldn't catch on fast because at my previous office, we still used paper mostly, and I had no idea what to do on an iPad. To my surprise, it took me no time at all to learn my way around the software. And if there is ever any problem, it is fixed in a timely manner. I would recommend this program to be used in any office or school setting.

It is easy to use and learn. I love that it didn't cost too much also. I was able to set up my office to be nearly paperless without too much distress and cost. The support is very polite and helpful. They respond promptly to my requests. I tell my husband, who is my tech support at my office, that I will not use a different software! I only use Macs, and this software will run on both Windows and Macs.

Our office has used this product for three years. It works effectively and is easy to use. It also integrated nicely with our existing x-ray units.
It has everything we need to run our practice. We can also use it on Mac computers and tablets.
It would be nice to have a few more reports, but it has all of the necessary ones.
