About CADMATE

CADMATE is a Windows-based 2D and 3D CAD solution, which enables businesses across engineering, automotive, or construction industries to create and modify drawings using various features such as quick measure, import/export custom settings, symbol libraries, and more.

The software helps add tool based on existing hatch pattern via the tool palette, converts 3D to mesh objects, designs planar surface and builds 3D solids from 3D meshes or surfaces. Using CADMATE Takeoff, engineers can estimate projects, perform digital takeoffs on drawings, and send required quantities to field personnel. CADMATE allows professionals to transfer calculations between documents, automate calculations for the area, length, volume, or perimeter, and generate the plot output of a predefined area.

CADMATE comes with a mobile application for Android. The solution is available for a perpetual license and support is offered via documentation, phone and email.

For Better use

CadMate, At all is good, a fast program to respond to orders of drawing, but less than AutoCad in everything else.

We've been using Cadmate for exactly 2 years now. Good decision for the company to use the application for cad platforms. Quick adaptability for our users from other branded cad programs to Cadmate. We've received valuable comments to our users related to the ease of use, less utilization of computer resources, cad file sizing.

Cons:

One good thing with them is they are continuously improving their products and they are open to the wish list of the end-users. Anything to improve is being raised to their R&D team.

Quite a bang for the buck!

We have been using this for 1 year now and are quite happy with it. There are still some bugs, but there are workarounds for them, which takes a little more time, but considering what you pay for this, it's a good buy

Very very fast! Can scroll through layouts very quickly! Not that heavy on the system as compared to competitors. Can easily adapt to this software. Compared to what you pay for it, it's and extremely good buy! Awesome customer care!

Cons:

Blocks work well, but under stress starts to act weird. Some basic block functionality is still buggy. Dynamic dimensioning not yet supported. Layout functionality are still buggy.

Can use it till your licenses is good

while using it - not much issues.. But to change machines, it is a pain..

Customer Service and licensing is outdated. You cannot recover and use old licenses..even when I had the physical machines, the company is not capable of activating the licenses on that machine and charging huge amounts!

Customers are provided with license certificate and it is important that customer retains the license serial key. Since the license is a perpetual license you have purchased, the license is 100% owned by you. If you had taken a subscription license we would have control on your license. Normal process is to return a license before you format your system, and in the event of a system crash, you would be able to reset the license on the same system. Please email support@cadmate.org for further support requirement. We provide 1 year free technical support, beyond that it would be recommended to take an AMC for further details you can contact our support team.

Lightweight product compared to other products & but very powerful.

Cons:

Earlier versions come with some third party add-ons (e.g. pdf convertion) but they fixed it on the latest release. Also compatibility with dgn files need improvements.

Well so far so good and economical CAD software.
