About TicketSource

Free, professional-level online ticket sales system that’s incredibly easy-to-use and affordable to all. Promote, sell and manage any event in any venue.

We’ve been in your shoes, experienced the same ticketing challenges and scaled the same ticketing peaks, so we’ve designed our ticketing system to be simple, cost-and-drama-free, basically, we get it.

We are not faceless, rather we are good people, both passionate and keen to provide a valued service for the right reasons. If you want, you can talk to us, we’ve been in your shoes.

Unlike other ticking providers, we have no contracts, hidden fees or complicated access tiers. Gain full access to our complete system through one single, easy to understand, affordable booking fee structure.

There is no cost to you, as the event organiser to use our box office system. No charge for recording your in-house cash, cheque and complimentary bookings.

For paid events, a small booking fee applies to customers paying online by credit or debit card. TicketSource’s online booking fees are among the lowest on the market, lower than all our major competitors.

Pros:
Thank you for such an easy system. From the booking to the scanning it was easy and our customers even remarked how easy it was to book
Cons:
the refund process for one of our 2000+ customers was a little confusing, however with 1 call it was resolved

Why did we not use Ticketsource before?

It was easy to set up. It is easy to manage. I really like the clear reporting. Responsive support staff.
Cons:
Setting time limits on individual ticket types. I cannot think of any more things I do not like. Its great.

Great service for multiple event community festivals

I like the quick answering of the Ticketsource helpline phone by someone in the UK (Wales) who is of course familiar with our language and vernacular. Help lines in the Philippines may be on offer 24/7 but they dont understand the nuances of an issue being discussed. I am running a multi-event festival it has become very simple to set up the system now.

Pros:
It improves each time we use it, adding welcome new features. It is complex but logical.
Cons:
The public access to a current event shows say X Tickets available. It would help if it said X tickets available out of Y, where Y is the maximum. I encourage my multiple small event organizers to watch their ticket bookings (they dont have access to the back of house) and it gets confusing when they cant remember how many tickets there are for the event but it says say 32 Available or worse still 50+ available. Also, when setting up multiple events with the same Ticket Launch Date, why cant we click "All event tickets available from the same date" Also when selecting a venue location at the beginning for a new event, why cant we set up a subdirectory of our own regularly used venues rather than scrolling down numerous similar venues across the globe.

so easy to set up events, check ticket sales, get in touch with customers. I liked the look of the individual event pages too
Cons:
The way the ticket shop was set up. I was running a festival with many individual events, and it was hard for customers to find the right ones. Perhaps it could be sorted by day, type of event, etc, to make it easier to find them?

Very straight forward for people to book. Looked smart and was easy to set up. Great to be able to add sundry items and donation options and for an automatic email reminder to go out before event. Was good to be able to do in house bookings.
Cons:
I think it's awful that you take a cut of any donations made to charity. This is very poor and would stop me using you again. The fees are generally off putting when organising a charity event, so I would probably not use you again and aim to sell all tickets directly to mean more money for the good causes, or it would be better if you offered reduced fees for charity events.

Reasons for choosing TicketSource

Didn't want to but Event Bookings needed me to be a registered charity to get their best rates and I was organising the event as an individual on this occasion

I could email all the people that purchased a ticket with information about the event. Report/update of ticket sales was very helpful. Good being able to pass booking fee onto buyers
Cons:
Report could be in surname first or separate from first name. Be able to set a time & date for the end date not a day/week.

Pros:
It’s easy to use and the daily reports were very helpful. I like that it is UK based and I’ve heard that you can ring for help with a real person. The commission is reasonable for a good service. Background We used TicketSource for the first time to our annual Stroud Sacred Music Festival. We left Eventbrite because setting up multiple managers was difficult when the keyholder fell ill and our volunteer ( ie not professional media people) couldn’t work out how to open up for loading tickets etc.
Cons:
Can’t think of anything at all, honestly I can’t! Perhaps things will arise with more usage but so far so good.

We needed to make tickets urgently and our main Eventbrite administrator fell ill and we couldn’t access the login.

It was easy to set up a ticketing page and get the event listing started, cheaper for the buyer, helpful service desk.
Cons:
One particular tick box was hard to find - it was buried in general settings instead of ticketing prefs.
