Amazing opportunity to make a positive change

From a safety standpoint, roll out, and activation went well. We are going into our 2nd year and super excited to see the continued improvements with our fleet. We have seen marked improvements in safe driving habits since starting this journey.

Pros:

By far the largest advantage with the Netradyne system is what it allows us to see and share. The Driver-i partner application for the drivers is outstanding. This creates the most amazing transparency between the company and the driver. Drivers are given the visibility to see where they can improve driving behaviors and the power to make the change. We have found drivers who engage with the driver-i app improve their scores and driving behaviors by as much as 200%. The accuracy of the AI technology is excellent providing valid useful videos for coaching and improving the driving behavior. We routinely use captured video in orientation classes and safety awareness training. Clarity in the image has been extremely helpful at times when it was needed most.

Cons:

The only area I have a con for Netradyne would be the support for issues discovered. I feel this is one major are in which they can improve. More timely and effective solutions would be very helpful. Sometimes the answers take a while and they do not solve the problem. The front line Customer Success managers do a great job of working with you on helping you learn and use the system. They are also great at solving most issues but the back end support needs some improvement.

We needed more reliability, accuracy of data and the ability to have better driver involvement.

Outstanding AI technology & hardware features

Excellent. Customer support was always responsive and helpful. The AI technology was superb.

The left and right side facing cameras housed into a single unit are a very nice feature.

Cons:

Experienced some issues on the client services side but nothing extensive enough to warrant a negative review. i believe their customer support was offshore which presented some communication challenges. GPS was not as advanced.

3 side facing camera plus AI technology were superb when we did our initial comparison. Samsara's AI was still in beta stage when we decided to implement Netradyne.

Terrible Dash Cam!

I do not like it. If your going to use a video camera to point blame at a driver for something they are doing wrong, better make sure you get it right and stop false blaming drivers, therefore creating more video alerts which makes more work for office employees to review. Don't let Ai manage your drivers.

I am not really impressed to be honest. Its hard to find something to brag about with this particular camera.

Cons:

Hang on... get ready... I dislike everything! It is far from user friendly, the back end office is extremely cluttered. No simple way to download captured videos for training. False video captures on many occasions. Camera does not provide clear images compared to older products.

Corporate management thought it would be better and provide more accurate videos and plus it has Ai (Artificial Intelligence). Bad move...

this program is a value for the money and super user friendly. I would def recommend Drive i One for any day fleet management use

The feature that we disliked was the "green zone" scoring system's lack of transparency and the customer support.

Greenzone - Multiple Alerts Rejection

We love the Greenzone scoring, our drivers understand it, our Driver Managers understand it and we all coach drivers on their Score. Drivers compete against each other to get a better score, what better competition than to be a safer driver?!

Cons:

Not being able to reject multiple alerts at a time. Several speed violations are incorrect and have had to be fixed multiple times, impacting our drivers Greenzone scores. Takes a lot of asking to have the Support team go in an reject those alerts for invalid speed events across our fleet for periods of time in areas where they were incorrect.

Better resolution camera, could actually read license plates to subrogate damages on drive offs, 4 cameras on one device.

The camera technology is amazing. Everything else is subpar.

As with any dashcam system, the videos and data we receive is very eye-opening and we've learned things about our drivers we wouldn't otherwise know. Overall, Netradyne's technology inside the cameras is solid but their customer service and communication leaves a lot to be desired.

The AI technology in the camera itself is quite impressive and can generate very accurate alerts on a range of driver behaviors. It also integrates with our ELD provider to properly identify which driver is in which truck.

Cons:

The calculations that go into the "green zone" score aren't spelled out anywhere so it's kind of a "magical" number they give each driver. Getting support takes hours to days and doesn't provide any useful information most times beyond what's in their help documents. For some reason they have decided to charge for access to their API. They are the only company I know that does this. Since we are not paying for it, combining scoring data from Netradyne with data from our other systems is a pain.

We love Netradyne from a feature and functionality standpoint, they're one of the best in the industry as far as technology comes.

Cons:

Customer/Tech support is difficult to work with at times. The RMA process is clunky. We often do not know who we should contact about particular issues/requests.

A Great Tool for Risk Mitigation

Pros:

The overall ease of using Netradyne blows the competition away. Whether you're at home or in the office, you can access your events anywhere. The app is very user friendly and you can monitor and help out drivers in every situation and from everywhere. The 4 cameras are critical to seeing events and fighting for your company when accidents occur. The coaching feature is phenomenal and you can correct ad habits in real time. Customer service is excellent too.

Cons:

There's not a whole lot to hate. I guess the initial set up was challenging but Netradyne flew out technicians to ease that pain.

Doing the tests of both products, it was clear Netradyne was the far superior product.

Lots of great tools. Constantly evolving offering new features. Allows us to correct drivers bad habits to avoid future risk. Applies a green score to drivers for the time that they are driving safe/compliant.

Cons:

Constantly evolving which is good but also means lots of bugs to work out. Customer service is lacking. poor communication with updates, changes, and response to issues. Definite inconsistencies with the algorithms.

The green score assigning a positive score to drivers. Also the Distracted, drowsy driving and seat belt alerts were big factors.
