About ENVI

Envi is a cloud-based medical inventory management system that helps businesses of all sizes in the health care industry create, track and manage stock levels. The centralized platform allows staff to track product usage and handle on-hand quantities accordingly.

Envi enables users to define a minimum and maximum quantity for each stock item and adjust it as per business requirements. Additionally, it comes with a purchase orders module, which lets clinics compare existing inventory count with predetermined par levels and restore products based on suggested metrics, reducing time and manual efforts across operations.

Envi enables businesses to manage stock levels across multiple locations, supply expenses for each department, expiration dates, lot and serial numbers for products and more. Further, hospitals can link product usage with physicians and various types of procedures to analyze expenses for different cases.

Everyone Should Use Envi

Other than those 3 cons I listed, it's been really great. As long as the vendor and inventory item is added in Envi, I can create a PO in less than 3 minutes.

I love how many systems it combines so I don't have to jump between Asana, WASP Inventory system, AND Quickbooks.

Cons:

There's so many charater limits in notes. The search function is very particular as far as typing things into search instead of using the filters. And unable to see the history of each item at the "Inventory List" level like with WASP Inventory.

Since it was only two of us, my boss and I, we needed something to make us much more efficient.

Implementation Success

The implementation and training process was smooth and easy to complete. We had added time to allow us to clean up our data, and our PM met us where we were during this process.

Has a ton of features for a reasonable cost. Love the barcoding capabilities with Expiration date tracking.

Cons:

Wish the product considered year end counting, and had a process developed for organizations in the system.

Used a system called Harris (not SmartFusion). Unable to find Harris in your dropdown menu. The system was old, clunky, and didn't allow for barcode scanning. Reporting was difficult.

We had nothing in place prior to ENVI. ENVI has allowed visibility into purchasing as a whole. We currently integrate the payable information into our accounting software and that has been great to gain efficiencies and accuracy over our manual process being utilized prior to this solution.

Cons:

Honestly, our initial implementation process was our least favorite part of ENVI. Since that time, however we now have a rockstar helping with items that were lacking in the implementation.

Reasons for choosing ENVI

Primarily we chose ENVI because of the accounting integration and the ability to handle use tax; Hybrent did not have that module built out at that time.

Great Product - Glad we switched!

Delightful and great platform that checks many boxes between inventory, fulfillment, AP, and SC. I would love more options to add data fields and customize picking. I am 6 months in and still learning new things. I hope to find out a new process for digital picking soon to lessen the manual work.

Consolidation of multiple systems at an excellent price through our GPO. Highly recommend versus other systems I've used (especially QB inventory).

Cons:

Haven't found a way to extract some noted data from our requisitions/picks. I hope there is a way to do it to capture some data for KPIs

Cons:

It would be nice to upload an invoice and it would auto match but the manual process is not that bad.

Great product - easy to work thru the different fields. Having the OCR and auto voucher feature is a great asset.

The best part is the 3-way match. We did not realize how much we had overpaid because the pricing was not correct on the invoice.

Cons:

Any problems that developed was quickly resolved - the only thing that would be helpful is being able to process credits easier.

Using the system really saves time, easy to use and has really made a difference for our material management team. Purchasing specialist can auto pull PO's for all vendors as before they were done manually using each vendor website.

Cons:

having to manually add 100+ sites drug expirations to each location, seems like we could pull excel sheet to implement

We like that we can have all of our vendors in one place and manage the items that the field can purchase.

Cons:

They need a better workflow for approvals that includes dollar amounts. There are also some loopholes in the approval process that need to be closed.

Cons:

The majority of the reporting is excellent; however, it would be beneficial to have more options for creating customizable reporting parameters.
