About ENVI

Envi is a cloud-based medical inventory management system that helps businesses of all sizes in the health care industry create, track and manage stock levels. The centralized platform allows staff to track product usage and handle on-hand quantities accordingly.

Envi enables users to define a minimum and maximum quantity for each stock item and adjust it as per business requirements. Additionally, it comes with a purchase orders module, which lets clinics compare existing inventory count with predetermined par levels and restore products based on suggested metrics, reducing time and manual efforts across operations.

Envi enables businesses to manage stock levels across multiple locations, supply expenses for each department, expiration dates, lot and serial numbers for products and more. Further, hospitals can link product usage with physicians and various types of procedures to analyze expenses for different cases.

Pros:

The barcoding, ease of creating PO's and the inventory management all lead to time savings when placing my orders. Went from taking 3+ hours on my order days to 30-45 minutes with ENVI.

Cons:

I would like to learn how to run better reports.

Solid Inventory System

Customer support is strong. Th inventory system is easy to use and can be set up to meet our needs. I would like to see changes made to PO options prior to send and somehow create a substitution tab. Overall experience is positive.

ENVI is great, really comprehensive procurement software.

Excellent ongoing experience, I love this software, it makes my job so much easier and smoother and allows me to immediately respond to price hikes by shopping around. It’s so easy to be federally compliant as well, documentation is no problem at all, reporting is great too.

Ease of use for both end users and administrators, automation features, thorough and customizable reporting functions.

Cons:

I would like to be able to do returns against partial items, I.e. 50% of 1 whole item and I’d like to be able to assign percentages to the GL codes, but I do understand why this isn’t feasible.

ENVI is easy to use, is versatile and is well maintained and supported. The IOS team is also progressive and forward thinking.

Cons:

Could be a little bit more robust on the warehouse management and needs to incorporate more options in the project management arena i.e. (capital spend and progress payments)

Easy to use, intuitive for most users, great customer support

Cons:

Implementation is fairly challenging due to mapping issues when trying to get the upload file to work with the A/P system. A definition file is also required and that assistance is not provided by ENVI. However, it should be as it's an extra cost and finding someone that knows how to write it can be challenging

Why I Love ENVI

I know this will sound fake, but I LOVE ENVI. It has made my job so much easier, and it makes me look good to the bosses. The experience has been wonderful.

Everything. I have been in the business 20 years and used many products. ENVI by far is the most user friendly, and has everything you need to manage inventory. the reporting module is especially useful. They also have a great support team.

Cons:

I had to think hard to find something I don't like, the only thing I can think of is when reports are exported in Excel I have to make some changes to the formatting to manipulate the information,

ENVI for an Ambulatory Surgery Center

ENVI has been exceptional to work with. We are very excited to continue to our relationship with ENVI and the excitement we have in incorporating it into our new surgery center and new EHR that we will also be implementing.

Pros:

ENVI has been a fantastic product to used in our Ambulatory Orthopedic Surgery Center. It is a very user friendly platform that has assisted in maintaining a very organized and well managed facility from beginning to end in regards to Inventory, Purchasing, Usage and AP.

Cons:

ENVI has become much more user friendly as I have familiarized myself with the product. There are certain things, i.e. allowing reports to be pulled in a PDF format instead of Excel that would be helpful with updating and changing certain reports our organization needs.
