Best Group Managment Tool On The Market

I have found Orchestry to be the best M365 Group management product available and allows organizations to bring order from chaos. The UI is clean and polished which makes training easy.

Every organization need to govern and control it's Microsoft 365 Groups. These groups are the foundational building blocks of productivity but ensuring that they don't explode out of control is critical to successfully rolling out and implementing M365. Orchestry provides three key features that enhance your chance of a successful roll out. One is strong and easy to understand controls on the creation of M365 Groups. These include naming conventions, expiration and archival policies, approvals, and a robust directory. That alone would make Orchestry a powerful tool. As great as the UI is, it would be nice to be able to customize it with logos and styles of the organization that is using it.

Orchestry is loved for how easy and user-friendly it makes Microsoft 365 management! It helps prevent Teams and SharePoint sprawl with pre-built templates, automated approvals, and smart lifecycle policies. With Orchestry, IT gains better control while users enjoy an easy, self-service experience—boosting productivity and keeping M365 environments clean, secure, and efficient. Orchestry can be on the pricier side, especially for smaller organizations. The value it provides is great, but the cost may be a concern for some companies.

Orchestry software provides robust solution to handle the day to day tasks of an admins or as a user. It is incorporates processes and removing barriers by simplifying the governance and lifecycle management of SharePoint and Teams.

Great app to facilitate workspace creation using predefine or customisable templates. User friendly and easy to manage. The app integration and business process continuity to other 3rd party application is a major leap as it can streamline or custom fit your need.

Cons:

None so far however looking forward for the app to extend on other M365 and Azure areas.

Orchestry continues to improve, which benefits us all

Overall, Orchestry is a very positive experience coming from the simple user interface which is built for end-users, alongside the templating capability, renewals, governance and more. I would recommend Orchestry to others who are looking to automate Microsoft 365 governance.

Pros:

Orchestry was and is a great tool to help with provisioning Group-Enabled content within Microsoft 365, being Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Sites and more. However, over the last six months, we have seen more enhancements come into the product, around health check capabilities and the ability to enrol and manage guest accounts. With these changes, in my opinion, it improves the product capability of Orchestry and goes way beyond the original purpose of provisioning Group-Enabled content in Microsoft 365, which benefits all Orchestry customers.

Cons:

Whilst most updates are done automatically, there are some updates which require administrator rights and we often miss them, which is our own fault, but ideally it would be great to have automatic notifications when administrator rights are required to update Orchestry.

Without Orchestry, you would no longer be able to get along with M365

It is a versatile application to manage M365 groups and teams. Insights and reports help you to maintain your tenant’s assets and makes it easier to maintain your service health and save your valuable resources.

Cons:

You need to be a bit of technically oriented to learn all its properies as it has so many possible options and settings to choose from.

My Orchestry Experience

Overall, I have found Orchestry to be a positive and intuitive experience. The software has a clean user interface, which makes managing SharePoint and Teams environments straightforward. Additionally, the integration with Entra ID for guest account management is seamless and that is appreciated.

Thumbs Up for Orchestry

I really enjoy working with the Orchestry solution and the excellent support crew. We continue to gain value from the Orchestry solution as it's allowing us to keep on top of the never ending creation of new M365 workspaces which without Orchestry, would be left hanging around the tenant occupying space and increasing costs

Pros:

The ease in which it is deployed and configured. Once configured it makes it really easy to create relevant templates and policies to manage M365 workspaces.

Cons:

It was a little difficult to support our specific archival process which utilises AWS but we worked with the Orchestry team and a succesful solution was deployed.
