Pros:

Alexi is a top-notch legal solutions for law firms of all shapes and sizes. It is designed to be a tool to support law firms and lawyers with quality legal research memos that are pre-vetted by human attorneys. It delivers a useful combination of legal information in memo format that is actionable for lawyers and students alike to hone in on their legal research efforts which ultimately saves the client money. This company is truly top of class in the legal AI space & will undoubtedly be a force for positive change in technology adoption in the industry.

Cons:

One of the only areas for improvement that I personally had for Alexi is actually being rolled out in their new product release, called Arguments, which is being released in September 2023. This is the next logical evolution in the development of AI-assisted legal research applications. Pairing Alexi Memos with its Arguments product will streamline the legal research process and put the lawyers into the driver's seat to selectively curative the legal arguments they need to prioritize based on their case. Truly powerful stuff here.

Reasons for choosing Alexi

It was time for our firm to break away from switching between LexisNexis & Thomson Reuters as our only two real options for our legal research needs. In comes Alexi to the rescue with a fair price point for its product set and a willingness to work with law firms without price gouging.

Highly Recommend Alexi

Overall I believe that more firms need to invest in Alexi as it has enabled me to work more efficiently to meet client goals. Alexi has been able to positively support my legal research efforts and I will continue to use the services.

Pros:

I really enjoy being able to use Alexi as a service to support my legal research. Alexi provides peace of mind when developing arguments for a legal position as I am able to see if my work aligns with Alexi and if any additional arguments need to be explored. I also enjoy how easy the service is to use which allows for efficiency when working in a fast pace environment such as a law firm.

Cons:

My one concern with Alexi is that the research memo's are up to date based on the publication date, with continuous changes and developments in the law it would be even better if Alexi was able to provide continuous up dates on memo's that are current with present case law and legislation to ensure rulings cited have not been overturned.

Facilitating Litigation

The legal memos are excellent and the quality of analysis is good enabling me to advise clients more rapidly, facilitating resolution with other counsel and in court and reducing the cost of doing so. Very useful

Pros:

What I liked most while using Alexi is how fast and easy it was to create legal research memos. Great time management skills is essential while working in a law office, by using Alexi, I reduced the time I spent conducting research which allowed me to delegate my time to other tasks. Overall, Alexi helped improve my efficiency and productivity at work.

Cons:

I've only recently started using Alexi and so far I haven't experienced any issues with it. In the time I've had to use Alexi it has proved to be an easy to navigate program and has provided accurate information for my research.

Pros:

Product is easy to use and understand, even for those not well-versed in AI and similar products. Alexi provides quality output so long as the input is reasonable. I liked being able to ask questions which would normally take deep expertise or prolonged research and received well-researched answers in very short time-frames compared to current (manual) practices.

Cons:

The only con is learning how to best use the system to obtain the output you are looking for, which is more an AI issue generally than an Alexi issue.
