About Evocon

Evocon is an OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) solution designed to help businesses within the manufacturing industry to monitor production, track downtime, automate data collection from machines and analyze performance in real time. The live dashboard provides users with real-time data on metrics such as production quality, production speed, planned maintenance and more. It can be used to monitor all steps of the production process.

The Shift View within Evocon provides a visual overview of OEE, downtime, quality performance and more. The Factory View allows users to get a real-time overview of the entire production plant and track the performance of each individual machine within the production line. Businesses can create custom dashboards and reports based on their specific KPIs and filter data to gain deeper insights.

Transparency in production

After having Evocon as a production monitoring system in place for nearly 3 years, I can't imagine running a production without it. It is a great tool with a lot of possibilities.

1. Quick installation 2. User-friendly interface for both - production floor users and admins 3. Reports within few clicks - great visualization 4. Full transparency in production - no more "hidden factory"

Cons:

There are no cons to be mentioned - if there has been some minor issues, they were solved by support team really quickly.

Scrap and production tracking are very nice and easy to understand.

Cons:

Production tracking and job distinction. We are a job shop and run multiple orders of the "same" product with little variation. There is no good way to track a single jobs progress through the production line. you can only view it as a product type not as a work order.

Now we know how good we are (or how bad we were...)

Moving from "pen & paper" and Excel spreadsheets to this clever way of monitoring production lines was a great milestone for us. Due to being very user-friendly, operators are using it and now we slowly removing paperwork from stations.

Pros:

Showing live line performance in a clear, visible manner. Uncovered many mini-stoppages that we never knew about it. We stopped "guestimating" and moved to a data-driven performance analysis. Slowly moving from a reactive to a proactive approach when comes to fixing problems.

Cons:

Not many options for setting new products up (size variations, different materials used, etc.)

Reasons for choosing Evocon

Evocon offered a 30-day free trial which was great. We installed the system, used it for 30 days, and made a decision after that. Not many other companies offered this solution. As we never used such a system before we were reluctant to sign a contract without trying it before.

Pros:

Evocon is incredibly easy to set up and intuitive to use at office level and shop floor level. Back-end configuration is straightforward and flexible, allowing the admin to adapt the tool to the local needs and preferences. The Evocon team have managed to zero-in on the features which promote user adoption and avoided over-engineering the solution. The application also offers API connectivity which is very practical for customized analysis.

Cons:

For our purposes we felt extremely satisfied with Evocon and did not miss any major features.

Easy implementation, Good price, Easy to use, Visually it's way ahead of other system

Measuring OEE is simple with Evocon, minimal system set up needed to easily get the data you need, and make changes to improve it going forward.Set up was simple, less than 2 weeks from intial online demo to having it installed and picking up data,

Pros:

Initial setup and implementation was easy - the 30 day free trial was a great touch, and doesn't start until first data is sent, so no mad rush to get things done.System was easy to setup, connecting directly to our machine's PLC was done in house.Compared to others, visually, Evocon is miles ahead, each screen you can see 3 or 4 different ways if your machine is running well with simple metrics, traffic light system, even the Mr Evocon avatar tells you if he's happy or not.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about - but if we could have login linked to Azure AD that would be fantastic, saving user's having another login and password to remember.

Reasons for choosing Evocon

Pricing was ever so slightly higher than the alternative systems we looked at, but the biggest difference between them all was the way Evocon looked - it's leaps ahead of other systems visually, easy to use and looks fantastic.

Easy to install, easy to use. Punching above it's weight!

I especially like that it does not necessarily intervene with the current setup and acts as an add-on. Easy to give it a try and drop it if it's not working out.

Pros:

The main virtue of Evocon over the rest of the bunch is the ease of use and ease of setup. A very well-thought-through experience makes all the difference compared to the competition. When it looks good and is easy to digest, it's much easier to convince the management or colleagues compared to some heavy-weight solutions out there.

Cons:

Not too many that I can currently think of - so far, so good.

Evocon OEE - smart solution aligned with the needs of most companies

Pros:

Easy to use, fast to learn, appealing graphics, fast to customize (reasons for stop, speed loss, quality rejects), easy integration with sensors and PLC. Don't have experience with integration with ERP (and others), but I would expect as easy and simple as everything else.

Cons:

Nothing in particular! It may be missing a few things in terms of data segmentation and integration with other SW's, but: 1) this is a solution that is continuously evolving (advantage of SaS); 2) many functionality wishes I might have had in the past were nice to have, so I can leave without them and enjoy the Pros.

Reasons for choosing Evocon

I've been using OEE for more than 15 years now. Used manual data collection, MS Excel, MS Excel with VBA to help, Data warehouse integrations...and so far I've not yet seen any solution that called my attention as this one.
