Growbots is a cloud-based outbound sales platform, which helps businesses of all sizes automate lead generation and manage email drip campaigns. Features include warm replies detection, custom fields, A/B testing, time zone detection and reporting.

Growbots enables marketers to create personalized emails and schedule campaigns. Team members can use Growbots to personalize emails, schedule follow-ups based on lead’s time zone, connect multiple email accounts and interact with prospects through multiple channels. Marketers can import data to the platform, remove duplicates, and monitor prospect status changes. It also lets teams collaborate on campaigns and analyze their performance.

A Thoughtful, Hands-On Team That Goes Above and Beyond

Our overall experience with Growbots was excellent. From the very beginning, their team demonstrated a genuine commitment to understanding our business, goals, and target audience. They weren’t just a software vendor - they were a true strategic partner. The level of attentiveness, proactive communication, and hands-on support we received (especially from our account manager [sensitive content hidden] ) was exceptional. They helped us navigate challenges like inbox deliverability, offered creative solutions, and even extended additional credits to ensure we got full value from the platform. While we didn’t see a high volume of warm replies due to inbox issues, the outreach still led to meaningful discovery calls and conversations. More importantly, the business development fundamentals and best practices they taught us continue to benefit our team long after the engagement. I’d confidently recommend Growbots to any small or growing business looking to scale their outbound efforts with a knowledgeable, caring team behind them.

What stood out most about Growbots was their incredible attentiveness and partnership-oriented approach. From day one, their team (especially our account manager [sensitive content hidden] ) took the time to deeply understand our business, goals, and industry nuances. They were exceptionally friendly, always available, and genuinely listened to what we needed. They didn’t just run a playbook—they collaborated with us to build one. They shared business development best practices that we still use to this day, helped us troubleshoot inbox deliverability with creativity and care, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we saw value, including offering extra credits when needed. Their regular check-ins, strategic guidance, and willingness to roll up their sleeves made them feel like an extension of our team.

Cons:

While our overall experience was very positive, the only challenge we faced was with email deliverability, which impacted the volume of warm responses. That said, this wasn’t due to lack of effort on Growbots’ part - they worked diligently to troubleshoot, offered generous solutions, and stayed proactive throughout. Despite the deliverability issues, we still booked a meaningful number of discovery calls that led to fruitful conversations. Given their support and willingness to adapt, this didn’t take away from the value of the partnership.

Great Sequencing Tool

Overall, I've gotten 50 more leads in the 3 months I've used Growbots than previously with other products. I had a stellar onboarding and got a lot of great advice and I find the tool very easy to use.

Sequences are smart and easy to use. My open rates and reply rates are much higher than before I started using this tool.

Cons:

Prospecting tool. It's intuitive and well-designed, but it's too expensive for me to use as my primary tool.

Gets your domain flagged as spam

Customer service was excellent until the last fiasco. We have one technical issue outstanding regarding something to do with the DNS but getting flagged as spam just led [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] to say, get in touch with your provider and then we can restart the campaigns with that new email address. I deleted all campaigns and paused sending to be on the safe side.

Ease of use, relatively easy to set up including all the email things that non techies like me don't understand such as spf records.

Cons:

I am now in the middle of sorting out getting a domain that I have been using for about 12 years out of spam purgatory. I specifically asked during set up if I should use a g-suite account and was told no need. I may be the only person on this planet currently grateful for COVID-19 as I am essentially shut down from email for 3 days while Godaddy tries to get my email address no longer flagged as a spammer by Microsoft. The email address had obviously been primed for like 12 years.

Best - All in 1 Outbound Software

Easy to use, no training required for SDRs, easy to scrape, cold email, warm them up, touch personally and then convert to a demo.

I love that our SDR's can live within Growbots. They can scrape their leads, enroll them into cold sequences, track people who are warming up, enroll them on a personalized sequence, then bring them to a demo with personalized emails, phone calls and LI touches. So, excellent, all in 1 tool for outbound.

Cons:

The only thing I'd like is to be able to see is: In the list view of contacts in a campaign, on the list, see how many times they opened and clicked instead of clicking into accounts. This way I can click a campaign, select the engaged leads, move them in a manual campaign. For now, taking a look at the engaged accounts is working though.

There are multiple things: #1 The customer service is outstanding- I feel like all the people who answer my questions are on my own team. They are swift to answer, or find out answers, make suggestions, follow up and they are warm human beings who interact with the best business manners I have ever experienced-every time. It usually just puts a smile on my face. Bravo!! #2 The value of having validated prospects to email is priceless. Being able to filter multiple ways to find the prospects I need to approach saves so much time and frustration-as a one woman show in these efforts, using Growbots has been a God send. #3 The integration and continued education of the system has been impressively easy to handle, with the guidance and direction of the Growbots team. There is still so much for me to explore, as the system is continually updated, but until I do that, I have a system that works and delivers resulting in terms of getting prospects attention and then getting appointments.

Cons:

The only thing I have thought about is the fresh state of the prospect list as I continue to use this application for more than 18 months so far. Just a little frustrated when my campaign can't find any additional prospects, sometimes. I know it takes tweaking, which works, but then ends up expanding the net which takes more time to filter through.

Truthfully, we were a part of SaaS Academy for some time and I heard [sensitive content hidden] talk about it time and again so I gave it a try. Best bet we've made so far!!

Great tool that is more than just another outbound e-mail platform.

Amazing support, great product but it never let me use its full potential . I was ready to spend €3,000k per month on buying new contacts, but It stopped after the first buy. And at this moment I still don not yet have contacted all the contacts of the first buy.

Contacts, setting up campaigns, email tool and prospectlist in one tool

Cons:

The hasle with setting up the emails and the steadily increase of number of emails sent eacht day. Every time I set up the campaign and email again there was a problem wit warming bots, SPAM etc. I was never able to utilize the product to it's full potential. I set up several new email addressess, built up the number each week. etc. But I never got to the maximum number possible. That left me with a hugh number of contacts that I could not use, because the campaign is executed so slow.

The concept, platform and overall solution are great! I could see helping many B2B companies by offering Growbots as a service. But I would need an expert content person who could also analyze and tweak messaging based on analytics.

The overall capability to target broadcast to a large, qualified audience with sequenced messaging.

Cons:

The learning curve. it's necessary - but not as easy as I'd like. It would be good if part of the package was a content creator that could help with the messaging and analysis so messaging could be tweaked. I can handle the functionality part, but the content and analysis need ongoing support.

I most like the database and how easy it is to find new prospects and add them to a campaign. Second, I love their education and templates for writing emails. I also really appreciate how dedicated their support team is. Whenever we have an issue we get answers in less than 5 minutes

Cons:

A missing feature is when you transfer a contact to a new campaign you aren’t told which campaign it initially came from. Our initial campaigns were titled based on where a contact initially came from and we lost that data.

Pros:

I am two weeks into my sales push with Growbots. It does everything it says it does and the growbots team couldn't be more helpful. The site itself is not without its bugs and quirks, but its a process and at the end of the day, my emails get sent correctly and the analytics come in as advertised.

Cons:

This doesn't work well on mobile and some pages/tools are buggy still.
