Pros:

I mostly enjoy the flexible combination of the ease of creating branded links and the power to change those links at a later stage.

Cons:

Very few times - in my case 1 in about 600 links - you come across a link to a domain on a spam list. At Pixel, fortunately, they manage a spam list to keep the service, their customers, and all the traffic safe. What that means as well, though, is that unsafe links can't be added. Anyway, as I mentioned, this almost never happens.

Great software with unique features

The biggest use so far is being able to track people who consume my content on social platforms where I don't have the ability to add a tracking pixel otherwise.

Pros:

The ability to setup links with UTM parameters means I can track the success of all my campaigns. Plus being then able to re-target users who have clicked a link across multiple social platforms is a great feature.

Would be useful to add post-back urls for conversion tracking

I like being able to control / manage and edit the links without resorting to something like other shorteners that have higher prices and fewer features

Cons:

There have been issues with the SSL Cert causing false positives on the pxl.to base domain, but this is not a problem when you use your own domain and SSL. Customer service has been super helpful in talking about this and resolving the issues.

Easy to use link shortener

I have been very happy with how easy this was to implement and use regularly. I love the browser extension, which makes it so easy to create short links while right on a web page. I love the ability to make customized links too. I am overall very happy with Pixel.

I was at first drawn in by the price, but now actually prefer pxl.to to my previous "name brand" link shorteners because of the ease of use.

Cons:

The only slight issue I have is in sorting, as I'd like to be able to sort by date created. It might actually be possible, but I haven't figure out how yet.

Bit.ly was going to start charging anyway, so I was looking for something more personal and easy to implement.

A quick and powerful way to shorten urls and produce QR codes

We need to share a lot of links to help desk articles, support pdfs etc and also have downloadable user guides by scanning the QR next to a piece of equipment, this makes it super easy.

I love the no fuss way you can shorten your long URL links to make it easier to share and easier to read. It is also super easy to make a QR code from the created links that can be shared on printouts, socials, apps etc.I also like the way you can make a batch of QR codes then add links later which is handy if you need to get brochures, flyers printed whilst still working on the content that it will link to.

Cons:

Having a custom domain is only available on the middle plus plans so excludes smaller companies and self employed etc as it can be costly.

I recently started using Pxl.to for my link shortening needs and I am very impressed. It's extremely easy to use with a nice and intuitive user interface that can be quickly figured out.

Cons:

There is no third party integrations. In my opinion, this would make Pxl.to much more useful, as I use WordPress quite extensively in my business. I hope that Pxl.to considers adding at least a WordPress integration in the near future.

The platform is easy to set up, easy to generate links and customise the domain name. Being able to amend/update destination links is really useful. What we particularly like is the ability to upload a thumbnail/preview image for the link – this is great when sharing content on social platforms as we can customise the preview for posts with external URLs.

Cons:

1. Auto-generated page thumbnail would be nice to have. 2. Historical data beyond 6 months/data export features.

Pros:

Pxl.to is a link shortener tool that is easy to use and is useful for linking to external content using affiliate links and for getting analytics. I also like that it is hosted on Amazon CloudFront so it is reliable and will have almost no downtime.

Cons:

There isn't much to dislike about Pxl.to. It is a simple piece of software but it does what it is supposed to do and does it well.
