The future of Ticketing

The benefits to us have been unbelievable. I love the fact that we’ve been on this journey with them from the start, daring to do something different. We share such passion for driving innovation. I have zero to add to the conversation of cryptocurrencies, blockchain and NFT’s. All i do know is that its the most effective tool for where we want to start pushing our events

Pros:

The features are so forward thinking its mental. The fact I can send people collectable NFT’s to their wallets much like a festival wristband is so good for us. We do a lot of secret sets and being able to send them an NFT with time and location truly fascinates me.The fact we can also use the platform like a patreon and reward our most avid attenders.It’s ability to completely stop ticket scalpers.

Cons:

The con’s are only that its still in development and I have raised these with the team and the features are on the way, but I still think it’s important to share them- cannot yet send tickets to the market to be bought back- cannot see total money accumulated from an event

Do you think is the lab tackled a detrimental issue within small events companies, especially within the student body.Reselling became out of hand and detrimental to profit and using Sealab allowed for this issue to be resolved

Cons:

I feel as though people were confused by the term NFT, I don’t think it’s marketed clearly enough and people are daunted by NFT in the title, rather than just being a ticket in company
