The Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) application is suitable for many industries, including the electrical, mechanical and engineering sectors. Empfehlenswert!

SAE CPQ unterstützt uns bei der Erzeugung von technisch fehlerfreien Angeboten sowie bei Standardisierungsprojekten. Mit dem SAE CPQ System können auch komplizierte Kundenwünsche umgesetzt werden. Hervorzuheben ist die Flexibilität der Software und der exzellente Support, der für ein solches Projekt unbedingt notwendig ist. Der Support ist immer erreichbar und die Unterstützung erfolgt umgehend. Das zeichnet SAE wirklich aus.

Pros:

Nach schlechten Erfahrungen mit einem anderen Anbieter war die Usability für die User sowie für Systemadministratoren ein ganz klares Entscheidungskriterium. Die reibungslose Anbindung an SAP und CRM waren für uns auch ein weiterer wichtiger Punkt.

Cons:

Natürlich gibt es auch hier kleinere Einschränkungen, die durch das System vorgegeben sind. Diese sind aber im Vergleich mit anderen System absolut akzeptable.

Der für uns entwickelte Konfigurator besticht durch seine intuitive, einfache Bedienung und kommt gänzlich ohne Handbuch aus. Das wird auch von unseren Kunden geschätzt, dich sich aufwändige Schulungsmaßnahmen für ihre Mitarbeiter sparen. Die 24/7 Erreichbarkeit hilft unseren Partnern zudem dabei, in Echtzeit Planungen zu erstellen und das sofort übermittelte Angebot in ihrer eigenen Kalkulation zu berücksichtigen.

Cons:

Nachteile sind für mich keine auszumachen.

Empfehlenswertes Vertriebstool

Durch die hohe Variantenvielfalt unserer Produkte war unser Vertrieb nach dem Rollout mit dem Produkt / der Zeitersparnis / der Usability so zufrieden, dass wir innerhalb kürzester Zeit unsere nationalen & internationalen Händler damit ausgestattet haben. Im Anschluss darauf veröffentlichten wir eine Web-Version auf unserer Website für jedermann. Mit dem Angebots- bzw. Auftragsprozess sind wir noch nicht am Ende der Möglichkeiten angekommen.

Konfiguration im Mittelspannungssektor

Durch den Einsatz von CPQ kann eine wesentlich größere Anzahl von Varianten mit weniger Aufwand erzielt werden.

Durch die mehrstufige Konfiguration und der Konfigurationsmöglichkeit im 3D kann eine komplexes Produkt schnell und übersichtlich vermittelt werden.

Cons:

Ein Tool mit dem das im 3D erzeugte Modell gleich als Step-Datei exprotiert werden kann würde manche Prozesse noch deutlich beschleunigen, vorallem, da das Modell bereits vorhanden ist.
