I love LEAP

Pros:

As a conveyancer it's amazing with the forms and precedents, I also love how it populates information. I always feel like my documents are secure.

Cons:

Whilst I love LEAP, I would like more precedents, as they save me so much time and give the firm so much value for money.

Valuable and modern software for solicitors

Onboarding was great and customer support through initial issues was really good, as was training. The platform is easy to use with great cross-platform support and apps. Features are continually developed, which is very encouraging.

Pros:

Easy to use but with a lot of features which are regularly expanded or improved. Because the system is cloud-based, updates and new features are rolled out without disruption. LEAP is a very good practice management system for small to medium sized firms.

Cons:

The only feature I miss from previous suppliers that is not done in LEAP is the ability to see, at a glance, all documents (eg. scanned) for a particular day, or all calls for a particular day.

We wanted a future-proof system that was being developed and expanded continually.

Avoid LEAP at all costs. Overpriced.

Awful. I hate this software. I am looking into getting a different software for the firm. Something less pricey as well.

Pros:

Just the layout. the look is nice, of the individual cases. Thats really is. The invoicing is a tad bit improved.

Cons:

Least? That it doesn't interact with Adobe. Not enough varied features for the different stages of litigation. searching for documents is tedious and should be more streamlined.

Overall, my experience with LEAP has been very good! Customer service is very good and they always assist in a timely manner if a need arises.

Pros:

LEAP is very user friendly in paying invoices as well as entering receivables. If you receive a check from a client that is paying multiple invoices, LEAP has an excellent way of entering them in an expeditious manner. I also like the way that LEAP syncs all of the transactions over to QuickBooks Online so that we can have an accurate account of our transactions.

Cons:

No issues with LEAP. It works very well for my purposes. The only issue that I sometimes have is when I try to sync journal entries to QuickBooks Online. For some reason, it shows that it has "disconnected." We have figured out though how to correct this issue when it does come up which is not very often.

The integrated platform is the standout benefit, particularly documents + matters + billing in one place. Bundle Pro being included is very useful, the matter AI and general AI tools add practical value, and the legal guides are excellent.

Cons:

Occasional errors can require a restart or rebooking of the task, which may be linked to third‑party app connections and integrations.

A Simple, User‑Friendly System That Works

My overall experience with LEAP has been very positive. It is much simpler and easier to use than other case management systems I’ve worked with, and the workflow feels very intuitive. I also appreciate that you can time‑record more than one item at once, which makes day‑to‑day work far more efficient

What I liked most about LEAP is how straightforward and user‑friendly the system is. It’s a great product that makes day‑to‑day work much easier, and it effectively supports both private and legal aid matters, which is essential for managing our current caseload and billing. I also found LEAP Leads particularly helpful for bringing in new clients, and the compliance section is very intuitive and easy to navigate, which really streamlines our processes.

Cons:

What I liked least about LEAP is that it can be difficult to see what targets can be set for staff members, including tracking their hours of work. I also found that when collating a bundle for Adobe, the system occasionally fails to collate it properly and sometimes aborts the process altogether.

Excellent value, user-friendly case management system

My overall experience with LEAP has been extremely positive. It offers excellent value for money, particularly for a small or sole-practitioner law firm. LEAP is extremely user-friendly and well suited to a small law firm. The case management system is intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes day-to-day file management efficient and straightforward. The accounting functionality integrates seamlessly with Xero, which is a huge benefit and saves significant time. The LEAP team are also very approachable, responsive, and genuinely keen to help whenever queries arise.

Cons:

There is a lot of functionality available, which can feel slightly overwhelming at the very beginning. However, with a bit of use and support from the LEAP team, this quickly becomes manageable and is ultimately a positive given how comprehensive the system is.

Record Kepping Made Easy on LEAP

LEAP has been great value for money. My firm transitioned to the program for the paper-based system. It has made collaboration on files more practical. We use it on the go and in court for accounting and client management.

LEAP is a secure Legal Software that my firm can trust. The customer support sent a team out to our firm to explain the program and follow up on our use. It is a highly practical management software that we can be used on a laptop, on the go, in court. Client management is made easy with all files online and available.

Cons:

It can be slow at times due to the size of the application. It can also be difficult to navigate and requires quite some explanation.

Leap review

When it works it is a very useful system with a lot of functionality. Our Customer Success Manager is very helpful. Sometimes Leap can be slow, and integration with our internal IT systems can be a problem.
