Simple and excellent value

Our designers and social media staff love it! They can absolutely pull what they need at the drop of a hat and without having to ask where the good stuff might be hiding. It was also very simple to set up and multiple team members are helping to populate it with no problems whatsoever.

Pros:

As a diving and vessel operator business we have 13 years of imagery on a local server. Searching for useful imagery and knowing where it can and can't be used has just become impossible. this has lead to repetitive design output and slower delivery times. The easy tagging and search functions have absolutely minimised the search times. Our designers get what they want within minutes, mostly in seconds.

Cons:

I am yet to find anything that I don't like. We wanted simple, and Dash delivers. If I was being picky I would say the auto=-tagging gets a little over excited. But you can ramp that down which helps.

Reasons for choosing Dash

There were many more we looked at than stated above. We chose Dash because they were the only ones who seemed to provide a simple storage solution that allowed easily taggable content without the need to move to a full bore DAM system.

Intuitive UI and Robust Capabilities – Dash Accelerates Our Team Workflow

Dash has saved us copious time and increased cross-departmental collaboration. What would typically take minutes or hours to find, aggregate and share files, now can be done in seconds! The creative team is much more organised and external teams can access desired assets and files rapidly.

Pros:

The clean UX/UI of Dash makes it easy incredibly easy to navigate and use - both for admins and contributors who may not be as design savvy. Our organisation has been able to seamlessly integrate it into our day-to-day usage.

Cons:

It would be nice if we had the ability to drag and drop files within the app across folders. Although folder structures are not the primary way of organising Dash, we still use some folders for ease of sharing.

Pros:

I think this software is very easy to use. It's great for sharing assets with multiple people and when used well, speeds up a lot of processes. I think there could be some better search functions as sometimes it's difficult to find certain assets. I also love the different download options. You can download in specific dimensions that fit for different social platforms.

Cons:

This may be user error, but searching for assets can be difficult. I don't know if that is because we do not have a great naming or tagging system but I think there could be improvement in the organization and search features.

Visual and User-Friendly!

It's been a fantastic experience. They allow you to do a free trial which I highly recommend. The user management also allows us to easily approve/review images before they get added to Dash.

Pros:

Dash is so user friendly; it's hard to overstate how great the interface is. I love the auto-tagging feature. There's a lot of features Dash has that I hadn't even thought to look for, such as shareable galleries, and public submission links/pages. I love the way they've structured folders, user access, and so much more. It is by far the most user-friendly photo storage software that I found (and I researched heavily) that suits a large team of folks with varying technical skills. Recommend 10 out of 10!!

Cons:

No notes! Truly it's been a great tool to use. Their customer service team is great as well. They are great to work with.

Responsive and helpful customer service team, from enquiry through to implementation and day to day help desk support. The price point is very reasonable for the vast array of features offered too.

Cons:

The monthly download limit restricts our ability to share content as broadly with our colleagues and sector partners as we would ideally like to.

Our Content Library Can Finally Be Used at Its Full Potential!

Happy we went with DASH with so many options out there. As a seasonal company, we appreciate DASH's flexible pricing, easy integration, and time cut down on chasing assets. Sales rep didn't try to push extra features or hard sell on anything that we didn't need.

Easy to use, optional onboarding, monthly/flexible pricing, and able to find assets quickly.

Cons:

I wish you can configure the shared link expiration to have it at the default of your choosing (i.e. never instead of the set '7 days'). I am not sure why you can't share a link directly to the folders - creating a collection just feels like unnecessary extra steps.

Reasons for choosing Dash

Flexible and fair pricing; no extra onboarding fees, no tacked on bells-and-whistles that we probably wouldn't use but still have to pay for. I loved how I was able to go in and play around with the platform and not have the rep hard sell me on their product - it spoke for itself!

Absolutely Dashing, made our

This software is very user-friendly and excellent for sharing assets with multiple people. When used effectively, it really helps streamline processes and improve efficiency. Dash is an excellent DAM for our business!

We have received excellent support from [sensitive content hidden] at Dash - from the Welcome meeting through to onboarding us - she immediately filled us with confidence. On the handful of occasions that I've needed to reach out to [sensitive content hidden] for support, she's responded extremely quickly. Whilst we're still in the early stages of using Dash, I've found it very easy to navigate. On giving demos to a number of internal stakeholders, it's been very well received!

Pros:

Having assessed a number of DAM systems before onboarding Dash, it immediately stood out as the front runner for the following reasons: - Very intuative - User friendly/uncomplicated - Excellent level of service provided throughout the onboarding process, and beyond. Transferring the hundreds of images we hold on file onto the Dash was quite a daunting thought, however the process has been very straight forward, and pain free. The auto tagging has worked perfectly and the ability to 'group' controlled tags speeds up the process immensely. We're really impressed with the number of features available. Being able to invite photographers and external agencies to upload & download images directly (with the added benefit of adding in an approval stage so that we can vet any uploaded images before they 'go live' on Dash) gives us the control we need. We also love that our Social Media team and designers can download images to 'pre-set' sizes - again a massive time saver! We are finally able to offer the wider business a central place to be able to access and easily search on a plethora of images!

Cons:

We're yet to find anything that we dislike about Dash

Modern platform, great customer service

Overall the platform is great, the team are brilliant and where we've had hiccups because of our previous platform the team have done their best to help us through it.

It's a modern, clean platform, that if setup correctly is easy to use. [sensitive content hidden] and the rest of the team at Dash have been great, answering queries when I've been stuck getting setup. Although we've had the platform for a number of months we're still sorting through the thousands of photos we had previously and making sure they are tagged correctly in the system. It is an easy tool to share images with external clients, as well as direct links when linking to people within the business that have a login.

Cons:

It definitely requires some thought on how you want to get your system working for you, so don't rush into making those decisions. If you start adding in another field after you've loaded images in, you'll have to go back and add data to that field manually. I don't think we fully appreciated that so we're still working through our structure even now we've got all 30,000+ images in the system.

Reasons for switching to Dash

The platform we were using was being closed down.
