Pros:

The Simplicity, good performance and support. For system administrators is easy to provide fast solutions to the business and the integration with our HR systems is smooth

Cons:

The complexity about translating to different languages, we have around 16 different languages and is a hassle to group the different translations by modules or sections for an easier feedback from the end users who correct the translations

Guiding continuous imrpovement for safety management systems

Intelex provides a starting point for organizations to implement HSE managent systems with out-of-the-box features and allows flexibility for organizations to evolve their processes, workflows, and tools. It is a good data collection and storage tool. There have been challenges with response times and quality of responses on service and support tickets and outages, but there have been noticeable improvements over time. There are a lot of possibilities within the available applications and ways for users to enter and access their data and generate reports.

Pros:

It is nice to be able to configure the solutions to meet the needs of the organization. The merge templates have been useful in several scenarios, and so are many of the other tools. We are excited about the document preview feature, APIs, predictive text for searching, and multidimensional hierarchy and many other of the new features that are or are becoming available. Compared to other management systems, ILX is reasonably priced and allows for many more opportunities for improvements.

Cons:

System performance has improved, but there are still lags and delays, especially in the non-Production environments. The primary feedback we receive from users is that it takes too many clicks to get through workflows. They want to be able to navigate through the forms with ease and the way the popup windows and search functions have been in the past have been difficult for users.

A uniquely critical, but aging tool

Over 12 years, it has been critical to my team's success and I'd do it all over again, but in the last few years things have slowed down and I'm looking forward to seeing them speed back up

One of very few products that can be configured to resolve some of the most complex air requirements in the world.

Cons:

It's aging. I look at more modern systems and want the integrated chat bot, the anyone can write SQL aids, and API connections for every table.

The flexibility with configurablilty! This tool allows us to make the form and workflow as complicated as easy as customers need. Also allows to scale up and down over time, data cleanup is usually easy and straight forward.

Cons:

Reporting can be really tough with large data sets, end users login works slower than admins and can be painful if not configured as per best practices. Language translations can be time consuming

OK Platform, but has good potential

The software overall has good intentions, but due to challenges with the performance and user adoption (due to not very intuitive UI—bulk import/export of data and report building), the overall experience of the Intelex platform is plagued

In terms of ACTS, it’s very configurable, the calculation engine is strong for emissions calculating

Cons:

Turnaround time for support tickets takes too long, getting data out is difficult, report building isn’t easy for a user that doesn’t know SQL (most end users)

Intelex has allowed us to build a variety of solutions for a variety of business needs beyond tracking incidents. It has become our one stop shop for safety related forms and processes.

Cons:

Because Intelex is so customizable, we have been wary of quickly patching to newer versions. We have experienced challenges when trying to upgrade and are excited to hear that Intelex is working on QA and support processes related to version updates and new features.
