About Zonar

Zonar is a fleet management technology system designed to improve safety and operational efficiency for vehicle fleets. It serves businesses, enterprise fleets, and public sector organizations across various industries such as pupil transportation, commercial trucking, transit, utilities, construction, and government.

The system includes AI-powered dashcams that detect and record safety events inside and outside vehicles, with footage automatically uploaded to a secure dashboard for review. Electronic Vehicle Inspection Reporting digitizes inspection processes and connects with maintenance platforms. Real-time GPS tracking provides accurate vehicle location data. Reliable GPS Tool

GPS Trackit helps us to locate our technicians, and our dispatcher can quickly assign the closest techs to urgent and the not on the scheduled list jobs.

Great customer services and real time updates.

Cons:

GPS Trackit smart phone app is not very user friendly, and it doesn't update in real time may be due to our carrier VZW's slow 5G service.

Reasons for choosing Zonar

GPS Tracki has the better prices than VZW and almost the same functions.

Zonar has been a great company!

Very positive RFP process and great project team. There are continued communication has been top-notch and their teams have all the answers and if they don’t have it, they know who to ask to get it.

GTC has been an outstanding solution for our transportation needs. GTC is easy to navigate, making daily operations smooth and efficient. Customer support is exceptional—every representative I’ve interacted with has been patient, knowledgeable, and committed to resolving issues quickly. We’ve used the tracking features to update routes and manage day-to-day maintenance, which has significantly improved our workflow. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the product and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable transportation solution.

Cons:

The only drawback we've experienced is the RAM docking station. At times, the tablets fail to charge due to a short in the connection, which can be a little frustrating.

I did research on telematic solutions and the districts that I respected the most were using Zonar.

Awesome service!

Zonar has, overall, been a fantastic tool in my day-to-day work in Dispatch. It helps me plan out ETAs, see what areas do not need to be on route, and assist drivers who need direction in the field.

Service has been great and reliable for tracking our bus fleet. History tracking is also super awesome to reference for calls or to check accuracy in route planning.

Cons:

Sometime the history takes a little while to load up and there is a little bit of mildly annoying lag-time in live data.

Experience is good. always a room for improvement. Zonar need to focus more on mobile LIVE GPS tracking hardware and tablets for Operator vehicles and integrate better with other Routing softwares and vendors.

GPS tracking, customer support, ease of use, vehicle asset management. Zonar being the leader in the Industry need to focus more on the LIVE GPS tracking, vehicle substitutions and ridership programs

Cons:

Better API integration for other routing software like BusPlanner. LIVE GPS and last minute vehicle substitutions/mappings needs improvements through the API.

Ground Traffic Control review

Over all, it is a pretty comprehensive program that we use daily as an organization. It is fairly easy to use and print reports from.

Pros:

This program is great for tracking vehicles & kids. It also shows great reports of pretrip reports, gps locations, speed of vehicles, EVIR reporting and many more things.

Cons:

The program doesn't play well with Chrome, as it seems to get locked out and you have to clear history in order to get it to let you log back in. Internet Explorer doesn't seem to have this problem. Additionally, their customer service and sales representative staffing seem to be short term at best--for a while we were getting a new rep every year, of recent it has gotten better.
