About Zonar

Zonar is a fleet management technology system designed to improve safety and operational efficiency for vehicle fleets. It serves businesses, enterprise fleets, and public sector organizations across various industries such as pupil transportation, commercial trucking, transit, utilities, construction, and government.

The system includes AI-powered dashcams that detect and record safety events inside and outside vehicles, with footage automatically uploaded to a secure dashboard for review. GTC has been an outstanding solution for our transportation needs. GTC is easy to navigate, making daily operations smooth and efficient. Customer support is exceptional—every representative I’ve interacted with has been patient, knowledgeable, and committed to resolving issues quickly. We’ve used the tracking features to update routes and manage day-to-day maintenance, which has significantly improved our workflow. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the product and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable transportation solution.

Cons:

The only drawback we've experienced is the RAM docking station. At times, the tablets fail to charge due to a short in the connection, which can be a little frustrating.

I did research on telematic solutions and the districts that I respected the most were using Zonar.

Zonar has been a great company!

Very positive RFP process and great project team. There are continued communication has been top-notch and their teams have all the answers and if they don’t have it, they know who to ask to get it.

"The only GPS I'll ever need. The directions have always been spot-on, and the mapping features are incredibly accurate. The live traffic updates save me from congestion daily. It's intuitive and always gets me where I need to go without any fuss. Highly recommended!"

Cons:

GPS tends to provide turn-by-turn instructions without providing contextual information about your surroundings, such as local points of interest or scenic routes, causing you to miss out on the local environment.

Reliable GPS Tool

GPS Trackit helps us to locate our technicians, and our dispatcher can quickly assign the closest techs to urgent and the not on the scheduled list jobs.

Great customer services and real time updates.

Cons:

GPS Trackit smart phone app is not very user friendly, and it doesn't update in real time may be due to our carrier VZW's slow 5G service.

GPS Tracki has the better prices than VZW and almost the same functions.

Wish it had fuel quanity and other on time vital fluid quanities. Also satelites are not always 100% accurate

Ground Traffic Control review

Over all, it is a pretty comprehensive program that we use daily as an organization. It is fairly easy to use and print reports from.

Pros:

This program is great for tracking vehicles & kids. It also shows great reports of pretrip reports, gps locations, speed of vehicles, EVIR reporting and many more things.

Cons:

The program doesn't play well with Chrome, as it seems to get locked out and you have to clear history in order to get it to let you log back in. Internet Explorer doesn't seem to have this problem. Additionally, their customer service and sales representative staffing seem to be short term at best--for a while we were getting a new rep every year, of recent it has gotten better.
