About Designrr

Designrr is a content management solution that helps businesses create and publish eBooks, reports, articles, whitepapers and other printed materials. It enables content creators and publishers to convert blog posts, Microsoft Word or Google documents, podcasts, audio files, videos and PDF files into eBooks and flipbooks.

Designrr allows employees to design interactive content, manage leads and target relevant audiences via a unified platform. The artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled transcription solution lets marketers generate transcriptions from audio, video and YouTube files. Additionally, it provides a host of other features including brand marketing, data export, SSL encryption, analytics, collaboration, search engine optimization, document management and more.

Designrr Vital for Marketing Agencies to Use for Development of Content

Overall I find the Designrr software meets my needs to create lead generating eBooks and high end PDFs and white papers. With the transcription service being the top feature I use on a daily basis. Whereas other transcription services cost by the word, I am not sure how the charge--but I know I am saving money.

Pros:
I find one of the most attractive features of Designrr is the transcription service. I do most of my interviews for articles via ZOOM. I record the interview in both audio and video format. After the media files download to my computer, and I upload the file via the Podcast to PDF link in Designrr. FYI - It takes the key audio and video formats. Withing 10-15 minutes, Designrr will notify me the transcription is ready in my dashboard. I then am able to edit it, lay it out, or just drop into a template for my use. Makes developing content easy and efficient.
Cons:
The actual layout design functions of Designrr are a bit complex and do have a learning curve. I am used to very simple layout tools like Mail Chimp, WIX, Publisher--and they basically run the same user experience. The Designrr system takes some learning, and I will admit it is not my favorite. I tend to use it for simple document production--pick template for copy, drops copy in, I briefly review and hit publish.

Designrr, make you ebook with better is best!

Quick to use, easy to edit, but new helpful features means I would need to update my knowledge of Designrr before each use. Great results with no effort and no graphic designer needed. Out put to various formats including Kindle if you get the pro version.. I recommend you get the Pro version, I feel its worth it. Overall a great way to get the best results for your ebook publishing with out all the hassles.

I liked most is that it makes my eBooks look great without all the crap and hassle I have had to go though before. I'm not a graphic designer so having something that makes my work good right out of the gate is very cool indeed!
Cons:
This is being developed with new features and so I found I had to change to way I worked with it so I can use the new features. Not really a con, a benefit that I get new helpful features but I would have to either watch the tutorial video about the new feature or mess around and figure it out.. easy but it keeps changing.

Reasons for choosing Designrr

I needed a focused app that would not do way too much, but would do what it is meant to do very well, and Designrr is this app. They are adding new features fast but only once they work, and so it may end up with a load of features but at least they will work well.

Don't bother buying this product

Bad experience. maybe others who have some background in using templates like yours might do better, but as a novice this was difficult, I never could figure out how to upload my book to the template.

Very dissapointed with the "Ease of use" Or lack thereof of this software, I wasn't able to reset my password either, so it seems you have to stay logged in all the time.
Cons:
How difficult it was to use. The templates looks beatiful when you are shopping for the software only to find put the $27 investment gives you crappy templates and was not able to upload my book to fill the pages of the template. Support never happened either.

Pros:
I've only been using this service for a short while but am really enjoying it. In my work it's always a challenge to make our content more engaging, and the easy ebook and flipbook creation is really increasing our page reads. Importing and designing content is also easy and intuitive, so I get my work done a lot quicker.
Cons:
So far haven't had any problems using it. Having an quick way to have multiple blocks of text become one big text block is on my wish list, but it's not that big of a deal for me.

Surprisingly, AWESOME!!!

I am a first-time author and have been in public/motivational speaking for years. I was asked at many of my book signings if a digital version of my book was available. Hearing that once was enough to make me investigate my options, but multiple requests moved me to make it happen sooner rather than later. The conversion process from my original medium form to the myriad of Designrr options is smooth and easy, as it should be. The number of unexpected features is exciting and caused me to dive deeper into the tool and look for more ways to create more material to publish. This is a game-changer and has inspired me to be more active and less stressed about my upcoming new releases.
Cons:
Finding formatting options was a challenge and using fonts that are in the original document didn't get converted or made available as editable fonts.

Once you get the hang of it, this is a good way to create ebooks and PDFs.

Once I got over the hump of figuring out how to get the software to do what I wanted, it was a relief because I'd been using Canva, which has unreliable formatting.

Canva, when you're making PDFs, especially longer PDFs can have the formatting go all wonky. I love Canva in general, and I still use it but not for PDFs and ebooks. It's just too annoying. The final product is much more professional using Designrr.io

Easy to work with. Still learning my way around.
Cons:
Managing the image Library... but it is probably that I hv not learned to navigate it properly. I wish there was a middle option between 97 and 297 per year pkg. also most people do not understand the credit system... I used up mine just learning how it all works... now my only option is 300 bucks and who knows is those credits will be enough for a year. There are much cheaper options so I do think a better pricing systems nn to be looked at. Just my humble opinion. US older folks have income limitations.

Hi John, Many thanks for your review. As always we're use feedback to improve the product (as we have continued todo since 2016). The media library has been reworked, so its faster, accessible from the dashboard as well as inside the editor. Regarding credits for Wordgenie usage, there no need to upgrade to the Premium plan ($297/yr) just for more credits. You can get more for just $17 one time payment. We've also reduce the number of credits needed for ebooks so you can do more for less. Anyway - I do appreciate the feedback as always. Paul, CEO

A must have tool for future progression and professional development!

My overall experience with Designrr is that through purchasing the free trial I was able to see how I could benefit from using the software. I then bought the basic package and used it for a couple of symposium presentations I did in 2020. Then I went and upgraded the package and very pleased with the extra tools on offer here too!

I love this Designrr software because it allowed me to do things I never thought I could do myself. What's more, is that it allows for access to tools I never knew existed. It has also allowed me to produce high-quality work that is needed in my role as a senior lecturer.
Cons:
I am still working on using this platform. A lot of problems encountered at present are of my own doing. To reduce problems I have sought help through chat and calling on support in here to help me, I have also done a monthly study schedule to help prioritize tasks so that I can learn how to use each of the tools and functions online here....so far so good.
