About TeamSnap

TeamSnap is a cloud-based team management solution for parents, coaches, team managers and group organizers. This solution helps users manage team members and communication within teams.

With TeamSnap, team managers can remotely schedule events and set event descriptions such as arrival times, locations and opponents. Team members can also sync event details with third-party personal calendars like Apple’s Calendar, Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar for real-time updates.

This solution allows users to communicate with team members via email, text messages or a private online forum. Team managers can also send bulk emails to entire teams with a single click.

TeamSnap allows users to create action plans and ensure proper follow-up with built-in reporting features. Members receiving event notifications can reply with their availability.

Other features include photo sharing, statistics reporting, refreshment tracking and managing sponsorships. The solution can also be accessed through a mobile app available for Android and iOS.

Very helpful software for sports teams and could be used for a range of teams to communicate.

I have been using TeamSnap for about 4 months for my daughter's cheerleading squad and it has been very helpful for navigating scheduling and communication with the team as well as with the coach and parents.

I think that team snap is a good app for coach and parent communication,team management, and scheduling is a breeze with it as well.

Cons:

I do not like that that it can be difficult to read the header information. I also think that the timing is off with the time zones.

Pros:

I like that we can have all team information in one spot. We can easily communicate all information to everyone all at once and update in real time.

Cons:

I wish I would get notified if someone says they will not be at an event or practice instead having to look in the app. Sometimes if were starting practice or a game I cant open the app to look at these things. If I got a push notifcation on my screen it would be easier.

Pros:

This application was chosen by our club team to streamline communication. Coaches can communicate with athletes, other coaches, with parents and with volunteers in private chats. We can also track practices and games, who will be attending each for planning purposes.

Cons:

There might be a way to process but as of now, we only see possibility for one coach to make changes to schedule.

Manage Your Team in a Snap

Easy to keep track of players and their contact information as well as locations we go to regularly. No more parents asking for an email with addresses for locations or times for events.

Pros:

Ease of use for scheduling practices and games. Checking attendance is great, but too easy for players to forget to mark their status. Love the email and message feature that keeps record of what is sent out and to whom.

Cons:

I use this primarily for my daughter's travel softball team as the administrator, but need to use a separate app for scoring the games. I wish TeamSnap would integrate a score keeping feature for softball/baseball.

Made it super easy to check when I have a hockey practice or game and also made this easier for my entire family No bugs that I have stumbled across Very easy to use for anyone, regardless of experience with apps of this type

Cons:

Sometimes very laggy to use and slow, but could be a problem on my end. On rare occasions, the servers are down. I have only experienced this once in my time using it, but it was frustrating that one time.

It offered the best service for the best value. No free trials or bugs, etc.

Over promised, under delivered

I wish someone would develop a competitor product that was more intuitive and less clunky.

Very little anymore. Once I switched from an individual team account to business, almost everything I liked became worse.

Cons:

The rostering, clunky chat feature, mis-information when switching from the individual team account to a business account, lack of timely customer support (1-5 days later they respond and not with a call but usually with links to their website or a generic answer).

Toss the Spreadsheets! Skip the E-Mails! TeamSnap is easy and useful!

My experience with TeamSnap was generally positive. Definitely better and easier than using E-Mail and Spreadsheets.

A solid choice for your Team's tracking needs

Positive, one stop shop for all things team management related. Schedules, reminders, team personnel, stats keeping, etc all in one place

Pros:

I liked the calendar integration, Rosters functions, stat tracking, scheduling and communication functionality of the app. Probably best suited for bigger cities and places with larger leagues, where I am from, the software doesnt seem as relevant with the community, but overall I did like its functionality when helping my team coordinate throughout the seasons

Not really anything against the app, but it was hard to get team engagement of buy in for the app. Probably just due to the size of our location demographic here,

Helpful - one stop for infomation

Positive - it is an intuitive app. As with all areas, things are managed across multiple platforms, so there is not always the need to use all features in each platform.

Ease of use. Adding events, changing details and functionality when or when not to notify others of the change. Reminder features are also helpful. The tracking functionality is also helpful.

Cons:

Not aware of any feature to poll members for specific items. Signup lists are also managed outside of the app.

Teamsnap...a solid choice.

I haven't had to contact TeamSnap so I don't know how their customer service is, but because the product is solid, it isn't an issue. I play on a team that uses TeamSnap and find it never fails to do the job.

Pros:

TeamSnap is easy to use and navigate. The app works well and since TeamSnap has been around for awhile, they have worked out all the bugs and glitches that some of the newer formats are having trouble with.

Cons:

The only reason I rated it a 4 was because as a Canadian, the exchange rate for the use of the product is expensive.
