About Switchvox Phone System
Digium Switchvox provides a cloud-based and on-premise phone system that helps users in unified communications. Businesses with multiple locations deploy hybrid Switchvox systems, in which on-premise and cloud-based systems at multiple offices are peered to work together as a single system. The solution provides licensed users access to the system's capabilities so that users do not have to be individually licensed for features such as call recording. It provides mobile apps for Android and iOS devices.
Digium Switchvox enables unified communications for end users via the Switchboard client, which can be utilized for click-to-call, instant messaging and presence. The Mobile app allows employees to access PBX features with mobile devices. Contact centers can also utilize features such as call queuing and Interactive Voice Response (IVR).
Digium Switchvox offers SIP trunking for businesses that need to connect calls to and from the traditional phone network, but businesses can also use third-party SIP trunks. Support is provided via knowledge base, email and phone.

Switchvox A Bad Choice

Support is terrible. Complete waste of time. You would get better service from a Walmart greeter. Switchvox has its moments of greatness and then it fails because of stupidity at the program level. Just avoid it. You’ll thank yourself later.

Its the union of Asterisk with powerfull tools to administrate calls.
