About Wisepops

Wisepops is a lead generation solution that helps businesses streamline processes related to popup designing, visitor segmentation, campaign tracking, a/b testing, and more on a centralized platform. It allows team members to utilize a drag-and-drop interface to build popup elements with custom colors, text, style, effects, images, fields, and other elements.

Wisepops enables employees to display popups across business websites based on pre-defined triggers, such as landing, scroll, exit, and more. It lets staff members target campaigns based on specific geo-locations, session history, devices, and browsers. Pros:

Advanced targeting options and built in functionality (sticky tabs) make it easy to use straight out of the box, and without coding knowledge. Of course if you want to customise it further, there is that option too which is fantastic. Service and support is always prompt.

Cons:

Still evaluating but haven't had any issues just yet. The only thing I'd raise is the ability for GA integration to come with all plans (including basic and pro) as I feel all businesses would want this, regardless of size.

Longtime user wouldn't be without it

I handle webmaster duties for a number of very small mom & pop operations. Their sites may get a handful of hits a day - certainly fewer than 30 on average. Sometimes, these businesses need to close early or the owners want to go on vacation. I offer to place a popup on their site to inform visitors when the business is closed during regular business hours. For those businesses who have PHP/HTML sites and cannot use other types of popups (like the many offered through WordPress), I find that Wisepops is my go to solution. If I ever start managing sites for companies that can afford the monthly fee, I would switch to a paid plan.

Clear and easy to use interface Works on any kind of website (HTML, PHP, WordPress, etc.) Dashboard provides nice summary of activity

Cons:

Frankly, there isn't anything I don't like, but that might be because I was one of the original users of the product - back in the day when they had a "free forever" model (not exactly forever, but free for a whole lot of impressions). If I was a new client, I might be a bit disappointed there aren't any lower cost options for very infrequent users. OK, I just thought of one thing I don't like. My "free forever" account will only work on one domain, and in the past, I was simply able to reconfigure the software to change the domain name as needed. This preserved my list of popups while still allowing me to service one domain at any given time. A recent update to the software now forces the current domain to be disabled before creating a new domain. This removes my history of popups.

It's helped me build my email list. I like that it is designed for mobile use since that is where the most of site vistors come from.

Cons:

It's expensive and I am always looking for an alternative. The per sign up cost is very high. Would like option to have reports emailed to me either weekly or monthly

The software offers a remarkably user-friendly deployment process. Its AB Testing capabilities are outstanding, simplifying the process of testing and optimizing efficiency to a great extent. Additionally, the ability to segment based on the UTM Parameters present in the URL is an exceptionally clever feature.

Cons:

Little more variety of pops would be nice to see.

Pros:

I was searching for a way to get pop-ups on my website, and I came across Wisepops. They have these brilliant tutorials and guides that explain everything when you first join. However, those tutorials are always accessible even after the first time you read through them or watch the video. It was super simple once I got started, and I didn't have any problems with customization either. I was able to design the pop-ups exactly how I wanted them, and let them show up when I wanted them too. It's a really neat experience and it's the easiest thing to do. I also really enjoyed the analytic section. There's a lot of different ways to target your audience, and the analytics Wisepops gives you is very insightful. So, I'm able to retarget and enhance pop-ups. It's almost like running an ad without a budget with the amount of information and customization you have. Definitely recommend!

Cons:

The integration was super easy once I knew what I was doing. I think that the guides help alot, but if you don't already know about source code, etc, it may be a little difficult. You'll need a little prior knowledge, however, Wisepops really makes the integration a seamless process!

A Simple Yet Impactful Tool For Our Popup Banner Campaigns’ Performance

It is a simple-to-use tool, suitable for managing numerous popup banner campaigns that are running simultaneously. Pros:

The dashboard is very easy to use and offers a lot of options. Although there is a good variety of preloaded templates to use for popup banner development, it is also very simple to create and customize your own campaign. There are also a lot of interesting targeting options available, as well as precise performance reports that make campaign management processes easier!

Cons:

In general, it’s hard to find something bad about Wisepops. In the future, for further improvement, it would be great to see even more video uploading options!

Pros:

Wisepops is easy to install and offers powerful targeting capabilities. While many Wordpress tools rely on categorization inside of Wordpress to target at the page or category level, Wisepops can be deployed (or not deployed) by URL string.

Cons:

There are minor design tweaks that are difficult to make inside of Wisepops. There are also times when Wisepops popups don't fit neatly into my Wordpress theme.

Best Pop-up Platform Out There

Excelent. I even requested an integration with a particular CRM/ESP and they worked it into their roadmap, allowing me to cut Zapier out of the process.

Wisepops is extremely easy to set up and use. The UX is very well done and easy for admin and employees to use and understand. The end product (the pop-up) is clean, reliable, and easily adjustable. The data and analytics are strong, too.

Cons:

Nothing! I just wish they would create more products for us to use!

Its cheap, it has all necessary features. On top of that it easily integrates with almost any tool via zapier. They also have very convenient Google Analytics connection.

Cons:

Havent noticed any downsides yet. Maybe adding Google ads connection for lead tracking would be good
