The smartphone app is simple to use and navigate, which was my favorite feature. Furthermore, the app is protected and encrypted, so you can rest assured that your information is secure.

Cons:

Docyt continues to satisfy me. However, in the future, I would want to see the app become more responsive and feature-rich. I would also like to see the price reduced slightly.

UPS Store review

The people at Docyt have been very helpful. When I email them they get back to me within 24 hours and always have a fix to my issue. I had a learning curve in the beginning and had a lot of questions and needed a lot of fixes and needed to have someone also communicate with my bookkeeper and they were always helpful.

Docyt came at a time when we were losing our previous functionality and Docyt operates the same way and with it's integration with online QB, It made it very simple to use

Cons:

It is a little pricey but in the long run it is worth it as I need to not worry about how daily sales flow into quickbooks. Docyt does that for us.

Because they operate in a similar fashion as our old system did with transferring daily sales into quickbooks

Reasons for switching to Docyt

Transaction Pro was not easy to use at all and there was ZERO support from their staff. I tried many ways to get a hold of a person and it never happened.

Overall, bank reconciliation on Docyt streamlined our complex process, reduced our manual effort, minimized errors, and provided our business with accurate and up-to-date financial information. We reduced some of our operating costs and eliminated a lot of the issues associated with manual back-office tasks.Mobile is a major plus.

Finally I have accountants who know my business!

Previous accountants I've had treated my franchises like any other mom and pop business. Even though I provided the accounts and their staffs the new account's packet, they still did things like for everyone else - added additional chart of accounts, mis-catgorized transactions...

I appreciate feeling like I'm part of a team with the goal of having the most accurate books possible. Over the time I have been with Docyt, they really do care of about their products and the reports I need to operate my businesses.

Cons:

There is a time delay when asking a question, because most of their personnel are overseas (I think). Ask a question today and get a reply the next day...

Reasons for choosing Docyt

Had a Zoom session and phone calls where I realized that these people knew my businesses and did more for reporting than what I had previously. Pricing wasn't a big difference and, thinking about it, might even be a little cheaper.

We have been using Docyt in our 9 UPS Stores for almost 3 years. It has freed our store managers from being bookkeepers and check writers and allows them much more time serving customers and training associates.

Cons:

Since we were early adopters, there were minor bugs that we had to work through initially. However, the Docyt team worked through them with us to minimize the business impact.

Submitting information is very easy via emails and taking pictures. You can set recurring payments up so they are automated. And the customer service is readily available.

Getting everything setup on the front end.

It was recommended to me from another The UPS Store that was using it. Plus we switched over to a new computer system that doesn't have the best accounting services.
