About IDU-Concept

IDU-Concept is a budgeting, forecasting, and reporting system for midsize to large businesses in a wide variety of industries. In addition to these functions, the system also helps companies track spend, manage their assets and equipment, and more.

IDU-Concept can be deployed in the cloud and paid as a monthly subscription, or purchased outright and installed on a local server, based on the preference and needs of each business. The Financial Reporting module aims to enhance visibility and provide full access to constantly updated, accurate data. The Revenue Reporting module allows users to comment on and analyze revenue data in real-time. It also helps calculate anticipated outcomes, predict risk, and report on past numbers.

Alerts are automated and customizable, notifying users whenever new information is uploaded into the database, or a particular data set needs attention.

The Best Budgeting Software

With various departments, IDU has assisted with budgetary control - spend monitoring. Looking forward, we hope to have the managers query financial transactions for more accurate management reporting.

Pros:

The fact that its excel based makes it easy to use. The user flexibility and customization makes IDU perfect for reporting.

Cons:

Still trying to figure out how the CAPEX tracking can work best for our organisation (reporting especially). If IDU can have the ability to assist in CAPEX spend tracking it will be superb.

Pros:

The budget process and monthly forecasting is much easier and efficient within IDU. Monitoring monthly actuals against budgets. Assets are managed and handled within IDU no manual asset registers anymore.

Cons:

There is not really anything we don't like.

Amazing solution

Currently in the implementation phase however noted that all of our requirements are satisfied. The staff are very knowledgeable about their product and really invested in the clients and their needs.

The integration of budget and reporting software on the same platform which allows for only one solution to be required.

Cons:

We have only commenced with the implementation of IDU now currently. We have not been able to utilise the system on a full time. It is therefore difficult to ascertain at this point.

The comprehensiveness whilst staying simplistic. The ability to at an instance view financial information.

Cons:

No Cons, just a local setup is a slight hindrance. A cloud setup would be the best implementation and recommended.

Efficient and easy to navigate

Coming from forecasting purely on excel, I find it efficient and super functional. Easy to import data from excel as well as build excel reports on the platform

Very easy to navigate through. Even when you are stuck, there is an icon you click on which further elaborates on the section you are on.

Cons:

Overall I am happy with their service but in terms of improvement I guess improving the turnaround time for resolving queries can be improved

Small plus sign in left-hand corner is really small.

The system is very Easy to navigate and customization of report is simple.The management reporting functionality has made our processes more strealined

The Historical Data intergration refresh is limited to three months and anything over that must be done through the consultants and there is a cost attached to the request
