LiveFlow Best and seamless all accounting solutions!

As an accountant, Live Flow has made my work very simple with the generation of timely and very efficient reports. It is easy to analyse the accounts and make relevant corrections. With Liveflow, I do not take plenty of time navigating as it is simple to use and understand.

LiveFlow is very efficient, easy to use, and user-friendly, and easily integrates with Google Sheets and Excel. It saves a lot of time in the generation of cumbersome client reports and is very efficient as the company expands.

Liveflow is a fantastic addition to bookkeeping and accounting workflow. Yes, it is expensive, even more expensive than QBO itself. HOWEVER, it pays for itself in both productivity and accuracy. Manual data entry is reduced and typos and “fat fingering” are eliminated. If QBO is correct, then your custom-created reports are correct. It does take some time to get the most out of it – but once set up it works great. You can pull raw data from QBO and then use it to create various dashboards and reports. And you can also use it to pull full financial statements and then create dashboards that pull right from there. Great product. And the few times I’ve needed customer service, they’re quite responsive. Highly recommended.

Cons:

It's a bit expensive. The price was a shocker but that's because we signed up when they were new. Multiples companies don't seem to provide any discount so we only use it with one entity.

Game Changer

Liveflow has been a game-changer for us because we send out many reports every month, often in a short time span. Many of our reports are consolidating multi-entity organizations. After the initial setup is complete, our clients can access their report at any time to view up-to-date financial data—no need to request or wait for a newly generated report.

Pros:

Liveflow saves a significant amount of time sending out financial reports. It's really great if you're working with several organizations. One of the most useful things for me is consolidating multi-entity organizations.

Cons:

The initial setup took some time, but I think that's true with any software. I'm specifically referring to mapping the chart of accounts in multi-entity organizations. Single-entity organizations has a much faster setup.

Liveflow had better formatting, and the multi-entity setup was better for us. G-Accon was nice, but we knew that we would outgrow it quickly.

We wanted our reporting to be more dynamic and collaborative. We liked the spreadsheet version of the reports vs. the pdf version that Syft provided. We also needed to create a new report each month, which took a lot of time since we have many clients. With Liveflow, we create one report and it automatically updates.

LiveFlow makes it really to easy to extract information from QBO. It has allowed the team to automate reporting, which saves us a lot of time every month.

Cons:

There are not a lot of high-quality dashboards. The dashboards either lack a modern look/feel or they are too specialized for specific industries, which make them not useful for us.

LiveFlow has saved my team tons of time with each monthly close! As an accounting firm user, being able to pull reports on a regular cadence across clients without having to log in, configure, download, and upload into a workbook is huge.

Cons:

Nothing--any issue I have had has been quickly resolved by the team as soon as I brought an error or suggestion to their attention!

Real time data for clients

LiveFlow lets us build reports for our clients that get them real time data. Instead of waiting 10-15 days for month end reports, we now build flash reports that they can look at daily with up to date info. LiveFlow also removes friction in the reporting process which is always a win.

Cons:

At first the cost could seem high since you may not be used to paying for a reporting tool. But once it is in your process, it's difficult to think about not using it.

Cons:

Some cells are not supported by the drill down feature, and it's not immediately apparent which ones are and which ones are not. This has sometimes led to confusion among our team members.

LiveFlow has been a total game-changer for our CFO reporting

As an accounting firm, we use it to build out real time, easy to understand dashboards for our clients, especially in the construction space. The way it pulls live data from QuickBooks into excel has saved us a ton of time and made our reports way more dynamic and insightful. Our clients love the clean look and how quickly we can turn around answers, and we love how easy it is to use. It’s become a core part of how we deliver our CFO services.
