About SAP S/4HANA Cloud

SAP S/4HANA Cloud is a cloud-based and on-premise enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. It is suitable for small, midsize and large businesses in industries such as automotive, engineering, construction, mining, research and development, retail, wholesale, public sector and utilities. Primary features include finance performance measurement, supply chain management, purchasing, contract management, lifecycle management, production cost management and accounting.

Other features include audit trails, compliance reporting, billing, dispute management, production planning, materials requirements planning (MRP), maintenance management, quality management, product lifecycle management, research and development. It offers integration with SuccessFactors Employee Central, Ariba, SAP Financial Services, SAP Fieldglass and SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer.

Support is offered via email and over a phone. Other help options include preferred care, support portal, self-help portal, guided resources, online chat and online case submission. Mobile applications are available for iOS, Android and Windows phones.

It is a platform that has become more customizable over time to suit the needs of different companies, and the Cloud version allows companies to save costs.

Cons:

Migrating from an on-premise environment to a cloud environment can be very complex, especially due to the complexity of the customizations, sometimes leading to the option of starting from scratch in the cloud and performing a partial migration of the on-premise environment.

The mass amount of data storage and customizable options to ensure procurement processes are running well and the in depth view of inventory management from all levels PR, PO, GRN, Goods Issued, etc. It is a great product to track your businesses success.

Cons:

Can be a bit laggy at times. This is to be expected with ERP software processing large volumes of data.

Pros:

I've been working with SAP ERP for last 5 years, and its a very complete suite for ERP tasks, it had made easier our job, many processes have even been speed-up and upgraded lately, they are faster than before, and its an software very much customizable, and has an good support from all modules Finance, Sales.

Cons:

Sometimes vendors give you high hopes on this software, and sometimes it has it limits, so i've seen some users that think this was going to be an ultra speed erp, and it is not.

Cons:

The most I like possibility of improvement the production cockpit where we add many options of scrap, rework or prodoction version reporting. It gave us great possibilities to analyze production process statistics.

Cons:

Least in SAP I like the pace of work - many reports are generating some minutes.

SAP S/4HANA CLOUD has brought about a very huge difference in our enterprise management processes compared to our previous ERP vendor. The product is generally easy to deploy and does not require specific skills to implement. Customer services of the software are brilliant. No delays in response. Introduction of the product in our organisation has streamlined accounting services, HCM, procurement and general project management. The software integrates with other solutions and has real-time data processing capabilities
