About Fedena

Fedena is a cloud-based school management solution from Foradian Technologies, featuring multiple modules for managing student data, schedules, grades, messaging, human resources, finances, and more.

The solution’s dashboard can be customized with 'dashlets' to provide an at-a-glance overview of the specific information to a user—such as attendance numbers, due dates, exam times, news, daily schedules, and income and expenses.

It is a cloud-based school enterprise resource planning (ERP) software that allows schools and colleges to manage e-learning and daily administrative tasks from a single platform.

Fedena’s out-of-box functionality, plugins and integrations—which include Moodle learning management system—are open source so it can be configured to suit workflows and requirements as needed.

Additional modules included in the solution are application registration, data export, tally integration, email integration, timetable generator, form builder, audits among others.

Fedena offers services on an annual subscription basis that includes support via phone, email and through an online knoeledge base.

Fedena is your ERP solution to manage schools & Universities.

Its a good ERP system yet very simple. It can handle the job and is affordable. You can test it as a beginning for free which is really great.

Pros:

Very simple to use, simple interfaces, not much to teach on how to use. Customized to help the user get to the place they want with no issue.The available portals for parents and students allow both to access and get information.

Cons:

Security could be an issue when working with Fedena. There has to be some work on the fee when it is carried to the next semester/year.

A total morass

This system was pitched as an all-in-one SMS. However, the non-intuitive interface makes it difficult to access basic information like student lists and employee data -- it can be done, but the user needs to navigate a maze of links to do so. Inventory system does not support a customized CSV upload. Again, very difficult to set up and later access. Gradebook is similarly difficult to navigate, and pretty inaccessible to the average teacher. It is not geared towards Western-style assessment and reporting. Seems designed more for exam-centric schools, such as those in South and East Asia. Training videos are narrated in poor English and are presented like a patchwork YouTube video. Support is slow to respond.

I tried Federal for a university course to solve a problem about education business and it performance goes well.

Cons:

Community version is not update and it lost support since 2.3 version because if you pay for his cloud, you would have 3.6 version
