Pros:

I like the simplicity of it and also how you can give lifetime commissions or limited time. I love that you can map specific conversions or people for future commissions if for some reason they did not purchase through a link and an affiliate reaches out about it.

Cons:

I haven't found anything I dislike about it so far. I use it for my own store and two clients as well. Seems great for all of us.

Easy to use!

I needed a affiliate program where it was easy for my two high profile influencers to use and uppromote checked all the boxes.

The marketplace is so simple and easy to post. I love how there are a lot of quality affiliates signing up for my affiliate program. Its so easy to setup a programs and its also really streamlined for my affiliates to join and start making money.

Cons:

Wish there was more automatic payment options for affiliate but PAYPAL integration does the job.

Really great so far, but hard to judge fully without the features

I like that there's a free plan certainly. I've been able to get my affiliate program started albeit on a limited basis.

Cons:

Although the free plan is... well free. I dislike that the product is "feature" gated and not "growth" gated. What I mean by this is growth in my plan is limited because I can't fully use the platform. The free plan doesn't allow you to customize commissions by product category, it's limited on ability to assign affiliate specific coupons. Because of the nature of my business, I'm stuck offering lower commissions overall because I need to work to the lowest common denominator, this makes our program less attractive so growth has been slower. I'd prefer that I get access to the features, but pay based on the number of orders or affiliates so that I can achieve the growth AND spend more with it... vs. spend more now and hopefully achieve growth. Right now it's a catch 22. I won't upgrade yet because I don't see the results, but I have a hunch I don't see the results because my plan is limited in features.

It allows you to set a special commission rule for each specific product or for all items in a collection. When an affiliate refers someone to purchase a product with a special commission rate, he/she would get the commission based on the special rate instead of the regular program's commission rate. This feature is useful for products with higher/lower prices or higher/lower profit margins. You can also make use of it for products they want to drive sales by offering a higher commission rate to affiliates. Just a kind note, you are able to set up the special commission for a maximum of 15 products in the Free plan and Growth plan. It will be unlimited from the Professional plan. Please be well understanding that all the advanced features consume much of our resources and we have a fee to main the server as well. Cons:

The app may have a cluttered or confusing UI, which could make it difficult for me or my affiliates to use and navigate. And When I do bulk approve it's always stuck there.

A bit tricky to log in to. It would be good if it there could be one account for multiple shops.

This feature is only available in the Enterprise plan. (You only need to have the Enterprise plan in one store to connect multiple stores, while other stores can stay on the Free schedule. However, if you want to use advanced settings on the secondary stores, those must still be upgraded to a paid plan). Excellent, the app is great to use for affiliates as well the admin. They love the dashboard and how it is to see how much they are making.

Pros:

Easy to set up and simple to navigate UX. Everything links together perfectly and its simple to follow the steps and directions to set-up the various features on the platform. Customer support is also very fast and accommodating to your requests.

Cons:

Management of coupon codes if you need to add a new one or change something about an existing one could be made clearer and caused us some issues to start with due to the way we want to manage the discounts. Eg being able to change the discount %age we give to affiliates for their customers. Also did not like their affiliate market you can list on. We got too many dodgy coupon sites we don't want to be affiliated with.

Great for driving sales!

We've had a fantastic experience helping to drive sales and any time we need to contact support for help. We haven't needed to contact support for problems, but more figuring out how certain features work and can be integrated with our workflow!

We love that we can easily set up multiple affiliate programs for different tiers and keep track of all our sales due to referrals.

Cons:

The biggest negative is that we can't integrate with PayPal to be able to send payouts from the UpPromote app, but that's more of a PayPal issue and not UpPromote.
