Pros:

It is easy to setup. It is not time consuming as it has a lot of automated functions, customizable affiliate registration forms and reliable tracking process.

Cons:

No feature in UpPromote that I consider I like the least as everything turns out for me working very well.

Most functional affiliate app on Shopify

Great experience using UpPromote. I've tried out other affiliate marketing management systems and none of them hold a candle to UpPromote. You simply cannot get the intense level of functionality from any other program. Most other programs really focus on their lead generation/affiliate finding, whereas UpPromote focuses more on the functionality. If you're looking for lead generation/finding new affiliates, you may need an additional program.

Pros:

It makes managing affiliates easy as pie. It is so customizable, with allowing you to create custom programs that manage different categories of affiliates or even a single affiliate. Payouts are easy. Customer support is prompt in responding to your questions. It is great that you can login as affiliate, this way you can help them reset their password or troubleshoot their UI misunderstandings.

Cons:

The Affiliate Marketplace needs improvement. We have not yet gotten a single quality affiliate through that marketplace. With other affiliate programs filling this void (for a similar fee) I hope that UpPromote will make this feature usable and ROI generating. I would love to reach out to qualified affiliates, but most on the Marketplace are unqualified and/or children under the age of 18 (who cannot sign a W9, so they are irrelevant to our business)

Dovetale is woefully inept at what it is supposed to do.

The Perfect App for Affiliate Programs

Great App. Clean interface with a solid workflow and wonderful customer service. The ability to present a trusted program that can really hone in and highlight your affiliates is top tier. Highly recommend.

Cons:

A bit pricey, especially if your store is running numerous high-end apps. It can add up quick for small businesses. But in the end it just forces you to push the app to it's limit to really maximize it's potential.

New User Experience

We just started using UpPromote a little over a month ago and here is an honest review. The set up was simple enough for a first time user to set up (just follow the instructions). When I did encounter a challenge the Team were very quick to reply and helped me resolve any issues. Super friendly and professional Team. Thanks!

Works well once on-boarded! Great for multiple programs

Customer service is prompt, though the programming team often needs 48 hours to implement changes due to the time change. I like the interface of the platform and how customizable everything it.

Easy to manage multiple different affiliate programs with various commission and affiliate structures. It's also great for automating your programs and ensuring correct and instant communication to affiliates.

Cons:

The on-boarded process was very challenging and we needed support for most of the process.

Refersion did not allow for multiple programs of affiliates -- they only allow you one sign-up page, and one set of automated emails for the on-boarding process. UpPromote allows you to have multiple affiliate programs and ensure each of the programs can have their own set of automated communications.

Easy and helpful

I'm still new to UpPromote but my experience so far has been smooth and easy to use since considering I'm not the most tech savvy.

Pros:

Easy to use, for both parties. Customer service is very helpful. I needed help with setting up a branded domain email and customer service was able to send me all the information I needed and guide me through it.

Cons:

I can't say that I have any honestly. I'm still new to using UpPromote. I so far only have a few influencers on board and things are going smooth.

launch my affiliate program and this one is the best! I've been using this app for two years and I'm very satisfied with it. It integrates perfectly with Shopify and it is really easy to use.

Cons:

It would be great to have an auto tier program that encompasses all orders of an affiliate for a given month.
