About Workato

Workato is an integration platform as a service (iPaaS)-based business intelligence platform designed for organizations of any size. It enables IT teams and businesses to carry out enterprise-level integrations and process automation using artificial intelligence and machine learning technology.

Features of Workato include data and app integration, process automation through clicks, built-in optimizations and more. The platform has an interface that allows technical and non-technical users to design simple and complex workflows. Additionally, it provides build interactive and intelligent custom chatbots to help facilitate and automate business operations.

Workato integrates with various cloud and on-premise apps for customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, human resources, messaging and more. It provides pre-built connectors for enterprise applications and lets users rollback to older versions, with an option to upgrade.

Workato’s pricing is available on monthly subscriptions and support is provided through forum, email, chat and phone.

Workato enhances simple integrations for each project

We have been using Workato for over five years to incorporate some of the tools and Platforms we use in the Marketing, Sales and Engineering departments. The simple work path designer with many integration endpoints/functions has been a great help to us. The tool has saved us a lot of engineering time because we were able to link different systems by drag and drop. Very extensive variety of product integration possibilities, we can find examples of this with Google, Dropbox, Microsoft 365 and others. I also appreciate the intuitive interface and the notifications the moment one of the Zaps breaks down for some reason.

Pros:

The producer of easy-to-use workflows, preloaded integrations and finalizations, and automations, enables a vast array of uses. They needed a solution to automate the management of emails and attachments that were received in large quantities, using Workato and certain email analysis tools, it was possible to automate the management of thousands of emails, this additionally increased our productivity to a great extent.

Cons:

The cost mutated over the years and grew significantly (but, it is still achievable compared to the work done), the addition of a new add-on sometimes takes time, the new transfer function is still in the testing stage. At the time of our procedures, the email analysis was not powerful enough for our needs, we needed to examine PDF attachments that were received in Zip archive format, however it coupled very well with a third party tool that specialized in that specific task.

No-code integration on the fly

One scenario I use is Microsoft Teams. After microsoft teams courses, it send summary of meeting and materials shared in session to participants.

Pros:

There is no need to knowlodge of coding. It is no-code integration platform. There are lots of education material and videos. So it is easy to learn and use Workato. Microsoft Teams and excel and email integration really useful.

Cons:

It would be really nice and useful if it has an IOS app. Subscription prices can be more flexible for small businessed and personals.

Workato has more options and a good support team.

Pros:

The whole automation process is smooth and very reliable which also always comes in handy while working with the software. Cloud management is also a plus point of this software.

Cons:

The downside was its pricing. I felt like it could be reduced as it accumulates to a large amount over a period of time. Customisation may also feel limited in some cases.

I like Workato because it makes it easy to automate tasks between different apps. It's very easy to use even for people who do not have much technical knowledge, and it saves a lot of time. Cons:

With the automation Copilots Workato has significantly changed the game regarding my automation strategies. Specifying the required process in plain English turns into the Recipe Copilot giving a general automation sequence. This natural language processing feature has made it easy to incorporate the applications.

Cons:

There are cases where commands are misunderstood by the Recipe Copilot and this results to several unexpected automation steps. This necessitated corrections that helped make it slightly less time-saving as was expected.
