Pros / Cons
  • The automated backups and straightforward restore options significantly reduce both business risk and downtime in the event of data loss or a security incident. While I see room for improvement in advanced customization and reporting, the platform has proven to be a dependable layer in our security and compliance strategy.
  • The fact that if a mailbox is deleted the client is charged for it forever, but if they mark it shared and remove the license they are no longer billed leads to a lot of confusion and frustration from our clients. If your intention is to bill for deleted mailboxes, then you should just do that and not have this workaround.

  • Automated & Simple Setup, I appreciate the "set and forget" nature of the automated daily backups, which can be activated with a few clicks, saving me significant time.
  • One of my clients has auditors that require that a backup is tested at least once a year, but I do not wish to restore my backup into a live production environment and potentially overwrite data.
