Pros:

The integration of Novisto into my organization's reporting process was relatively smooth and painless. The project management and implementation team on Novisto's side was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. They are more than willing to customize the product as much as possible to accommodate our needs and add items to their development schedule based on our feedback.The capabilities of the platform are very impressive. My team mainly uses it as a data collection and management tool and find that it has made our collection process much smoother and improved our governance over the process with its audit trail functionality. Also enjoy that changes made to the metrics inside the platform are reflected in real time to any outstanding requests, allowing for a lot of flexibility. On top of this the platform is a convenient place to manage ESG data and keep a book of record for definitions, disclaimers and nuances for metrics aside from purely the data.

Cons:

General comment here is that the platform is still maturing and may not have absolutely every type of functionality a client might want. Exporting data for example has been a bit clunky of a process and less tech-savvy users sometimes fund submitting data not totally intuitive. However I will say that all the issues I have encountered are being addressed in one way or another. As the team continue to work on the product more functionality is expected to come in to solve all the above issues so i am hopeful for future releases.

Novisto: intuitive ESG data management software

Overall, Novisto meets my needs perfectly and makes the data collection process simple and efficient. The functionalities are well thought-out and save to the user a lot of time.

- metrics have been created based on the requirements of the most widely recognized ESG standards and frameworks- data can be collected once and used several times in different reports and tables- multiple teams can work together at the same time, using the survey module to collect data- automated process with due dates- ability to generate reports- ability to build excel tables

Cons:

It would be interesting to be able to collaborate interactively in certain reports (such as CDP or sustainable development reports) for approval processesTo have a color code in the audit trail to facilitate the audit process (green = audited and validated, orange = audited and sent back to the contributor for correction, red = not audited).

Pros:

Several international standards, frameworks and regulations are mapped in Novisto and linked to metrics; greatly helpful when you try to navigate the complex & evolving regulatory & disclosure space. The tool has very detailed metric level guidance even for custom surveys/ ratings - which makes your life easy while responding to disclosure requests. Lastly, the Novisto support has been excellent and they go above and beyond to get things done for you - they have made a difference to my team's reporting & ESG program delivery in a short span of time.

Cons:

Competitor benchmarking at a metric level has been an excellent feature of the tool; however gets clunky when you try to compare multiple peers simultaneously.
