Hazard Assessment Module on e-Compliance

I am working a Lab Safety Coordinator, at the University of Alberta, where one of my prime responsibilities is to create a database of HAs of all the labs of the department, and this software has really made the work easy

This software interface combines several aspects of conducting a formal hazard assessment creating an ease of usability and provides a very good platform to combine those

Cons:

Sometimes, it is difficult to maintain a database of self-defined hazards, and controls, which makes it time-consuming to add those individually to other HAs, if being conducted. This applies to the case where a database of new hazard assessments is being made, otherwise, it is easy to maintain the HAs

Very straight forward and has many different pre-written forms to use. Big time saver.

Cons:

Not being able to link an asset to an inspection.

Pricing and compatibility. We have many different locations and it didn't cost more for the site tree.

Reasons for switching to EcoOnline

Many different reasons, mainly there was major miscommunication on training and certifications. Second, Pricing with eCompliance is much better for our smaller company.

only ok, not thrilled

sales staff great, but really disappointed with software. they resisted giving me a trial and now i know why.

their sales staff was supportive and understanding. they were very good sales technique.

Cons:

There are a ton of basic features I'm so disappointed it didn't have. The tables that give you a list of incidents doesn't show employee name and you can't add it --its not customizable. Employee profile is not customizable for which fields it shows and it doesn't have capability to add. Employee profile that had address and other info osha 301 form needs and workers comp claims have no way to include. OSHA forms were not able to be generated.

Reasons for choosing EcoOnline

it seemed more customizable than the others, and their sales staff seemed like they would be supportive with the safety challenges we had. it was mid-range in cost. a lot less expensive than intelex. seemed better in their talking. in fact it isn't as customizable as I need.

EcoOnline eCompliance is super easy to use and navigate

Cons:

Every time I scroll down on the inspection page and go to type in mileage it auto scrolls back up to the top of the page and it repeats this twice for some reason? Other than that it's great!

I switched because of the ease of functionality.

It's very easy to navigate through on both the computer and on the phone app. Stats are easy to extract from the software. the program is tailored to what we need.

Cons:

At first when entering info on the phone app, the program was jumpy, but then I realized, as soon as I opened the program it would sync and once the sync was completed, no issues at all. Now I open the program wait 10-15 seconds for the sync to complete and then proceed.

The platform is easily navigable. It would be nice to have some evideos about how to do different things within the site.

Cons:

Downloading course reports is difficult. Alot of times it won't let me download a course report to excel. I constantly get an error message.

Easy to Navigate

It's an easy program to use. It's not overwhelming to look at and it's obvious where to go to find certain features or documents

It's very easy to navigate. The interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons:

The only feature that sometimes is a little goofy is the time feature. When you have to log the time you are completing a meeting or form, sometimes it changes to a completely random and inaccurate time when you click on it.
