About Cheqdin

Cheqdin is a cloud-based childcare solution that helps businesses manage billing and invoicing operations in nurseries, day care centers and afterschool programs. Key features include parent portal, photo gallery, immunization records, daily reports and menu planning.

Designed for preschools, day nurseries, out of school clubs, childminders, holiday camps and activity centers, Cheqdin tracks records of staff’s shift timings for managing payroll. It allows users to send out newsletters, notifications, reminders and RSVP of events to parents. Additionally, the tool comes with automated payment gateways and multiple billing solutions such as check, cash payments, bank transfers and vouchers.

Cheqdin’s dashboard allows enterprises to monitor upcoming payments, total outstanding and business revenue. Mobile applications for Android and iOS devices are also offered to remotely manage business activities. It is available on a monthly subscription and support is extended via documentation, phone, email and other online measures.

Amazing Software, Fantastic Support!

So far, my experience is very positive - this platform has enable me to successfully setup my business and provide parents with a an easy way to register, book, and pay invoices. Extending my thanks to [sensitive content hidden] who has been instrumental in helping me get things up and running!

Pros:

Once set up, the platform is very easy to use - it allows me to run the centre efficiently and easily. I really like the automation it provides when booking places and invoicing.

Cons:

Setting up can take some time to figure out - grateful for the support provided by the Cheqdin team ( [sensitive content hidden])

Very positive overall. Had two previous contacts and [sensitive content hidden] has been a star. Makes things as simple as possible and never a stupid question, no matter how many times I ask them. Without this kind of support, I’d be lost tbh, it’s priceless.

Sending invoices has become so Much faster, responsive customer care and advice

Cons:

Booking in sessions- wish we could book in using specific days and dates for the year ahead. For example, ‘[sensitive content hidden] is going to attend every Mon tues and Wed from Aug til June’..would make my life so much easier and less potential human error clicking the wrong dates in error. I’d prefer if the site was a little easier to navigate…I feel like it’s full functionality isn’t obvious. Also, would love if session registers could be printed directly rather than exported to excel…

Great value for money and a lots of useful features

Pros:

This software does a lot for the money and once set up does save time and paper. I am still occassionally finding features I didn't realise were there or that have been added as the team continue to improve the product. The customer support has always been helpful and readily available and they are always keen to listen and introduce new features to help make it better. The parent Apps have helped us engage more with parents and provides alternative communication tools to do that. The support team are really friendly and helpful and keen to get things right for our needs.

Cons:

It does take a bit of time to get everything set up properly and thought needs to go into how you do this in the right way for your setting (but so much time is saved once it is done and the price is still way better than competitors.) It doesn't necessarily have all the features of some other Nursery Management software but but is much more affordable for a smaller setting. Some features have not been so useful to us so we have not maximised their use.

Cost/Value for money It had the features we really needed most It worked across lots of different platforms e.g. Kindle, android, ipad

Reasons for switching to Cheqdin

INM did not have all the the features we needed and in particular, the digital sign in and Accident records.

Cheqdin Review

We are very pleased with our overall experience with the platform, it has saved us a mountain of paperwork and continues to prove a valuable time saving resource.

It is a very easy to use interface, with what should be a complicated task, simplified by the way the menu options/items have been created for the user to navigate.

Cons:

There isn't really anything that we like least about cheqdin, the only process we would like to see introduced is the ability to create template reports for items such as producing customised layouts for registers etc..

Feedback review

I was thrown in at the deep end when I started using Cheqdin with my manager going on long term sick leave. I had a lot to figure out for myself and luckily the site isn't too difficult to navigate. Your customer service team always appear on hand to talk through hurdles. We are hoping that we will be fully accessing all areas of Cheqdin in a few weeks time and if all goes to plan this will make things a lot easier for our setting.

Excellent customer service, the support I have received from [sensitive content hidden] has been amazing and always there when a hit a stumbling block. The easy to use registers are great for your setting and been able to look at the children's information on apps, such as tags or contact details has been much easier.

Cons:

The system appears slow, I thought it was our Wifi but actually where ever I use the website it takes an age to load causing delays and hold ups in the process. It would be useful to have information buttons where you could find a little more information about different areas such as products for example.

Great system, loads of good features

Its taking a little bit of time to get used to the system but overall we are really happy with it.

Ease of use. Great features for example: parents are notified when their child is checkin in givign them peace of mind. there are many more so far its been great.

Cons:

Can be a bit faffy to set up, trying to get parents to complete registration forms on the new system was a chore and some we had to do ourselves but now its set up its great.

Customer service is amazing. [sensitive content hidden], Customer Success Executive is just a phone call away. [sensitive content hidden] always follows up with phone calls and emails at the earliest. Online training and request a call back services are fantastic.

Cons:

No negative experience so far. We have just started to use all functions of Cheqdin. We are looking forward to partnership with Cheqdin.

An affordable and useful admin tool for my Nursery

Cheqdin has just become an everyday part of my business and life and really happy with the product and service.

Pros:

It is a professional looking online booking app for parents, which is easy to use and cuts down on chasing adhoc booking invoices. Lots of help is provided by the Cheqdin team if needed. Parents mostly fine the app easy to use and Invoices and collecting money is more organized than in the past.

Cons:

manually deducting granted hours every month. No easy way for practitioners to check future whole class registers on either cheqdin or notebook app.

Easy to use platform and great customer service

I really appreciated [sensitive content hidden]and how quick she was to respond to my emails and messages. She was super friendly and professional, answering all my questions (even the silly ones!) with patience and professionalism.

I found Cheqdin really easy to use and the customer service was amazing.

Cons:

I didn’t love that I had to log in to enrol each student before they could book. Sometimes I wasn’t near my laptop and then it meant the customer had to wait until I could get to it, which just made it extra waiting time for them.

Regarding enrolment approvals for first time applications, this is put in place because many centres require to review applications (special needs, dietary requirements etc) before accepting the application.
