CAST AI analyzes costs in real time and recommends optimizations based on its analysis. These recommendations include autoscaling, rightsizing, bin packing, and spot instance automation.

CAST AI uses artificial intelligence to analyze your usage patterns and make intelligent decisions about when it should add more instances or reduce them. CAST AI allows you to automate the process of scheduling new clusters so that they're always up when you need them without any manual intervention required from your team members who might not be available at certain times due to vacations or other reasons outside their control.

Pros:

Easy to start using and one of the best Kubernetes autoscalers in the market. CAST AI allowed us to utilize resources just perfectly what resulted in dramatically reduced AWS cost.

Cons:

Without onboarding support it’s not clear either you should go through creating or connecting cluster options. Other than that is fine.

Pros:

I liked that they use more than spot instances to cut down on costs. There's autoscaling, bin packing and instance type optimization so we can use the platform on workloads that are not suitable for spot instances.

Cons:

So far only EKS is supported and we run on GKE as well
