Pros:

I have used multiple software for managing our hockey club and since we implemented CrossBar in 2016 it has streamlined our operations. I train people on this software all the time and they all catch on very quickly. This is by far the best sports management software on the market!

Cons:

I have no cons. It addresses all of our needs. Over the years their staff keeps up with our needs and added features that we wanted.

We’ve had a good experience transitioning from our prior website provider. We have better function at a lower cost. Customer service is outstanding, very prompt and quick to resolve issues and answer questions.

Cons:

Importing contacts should be easier and part of the migration.

Pros:

Nothing its hard to use on the both the app and website and each has different abilities.

Cons:

Everything, email system is difficult to use and even when you select a few to send on to, it goes to everyone. The ability to find where stuff is hidden in the menus is annoying due to having to look in multiple drop down menus.

Attentive Customer Service!

Anytime our club has questions, the Crossbar team is very responsive and attentive to our needs. While not all the features we’d like are available yet, I feel they note our feedback for future enhancements.

Convenient and communicative with MO Hockey scheduling. Volunteer assignments and ease of web design features!

Cons:

App and web browser versions have too many differences. Would be helpful to have the same functionality on both for team managers and players. Would like volunteer section for each team page that can be managed by the team staff.

Easy to use website for my end users. Easy to program for an admin and the volunteer function is top notch.

Cons:

A few small items that could be more tailored to our org like using hours for volunteer functionality instead of instances.

Easy setup, new modern site and app, but most of all the support from our account manager has been outstanding!

Cons:

So far not a ton. I do wish coaches/team managers could do a little more with managing their schedules (repeating things, cancel of home facility events).

It is so easy to use. I like how it is a one-stop shop for us and the ability to message the customers for a specific program.

Cons:

I would like for programs and schedule to be synchronized or an option to put that "program" on the facility scheduler and on the public calendar

I do not recall the names of competitors but Crossbar stood out because they were legitimate professionals and it was made by hockey people for hockey people makes our life at a rink so much easier

EZFacility was outdated and WordPress was so complicated, could have been from the company we hired to set up our initial WordPress site but regardless it was so slow and too complicated to work on for me as someone who has no website experience

Crossbar gives us one place the house all the information. Our team needs on a daily and weekly basis.

Cons:

The only thing we don’t like about Crossbar is there’s no ability to have a chat function for just the players and coaches

Great software and support when needed

The implementation was pretty smooth and we transitioned shortly after tryouts were completed. The more time on the system the easier it is to use. I've even helped another organization implement theirs and offered guidance on how to handle quirks of their programs.

Pros:

The team management and scheduling platform is so much easier to use than our old software. The new offer feature this year made it great to track acceptances of team positions. Making quick changes on the fly to pages or postings is easy, even from a mobile device.

Cons:

Wish there was support for questions by season rather than program.

The limitations along with overall look and feel. The ability to integrate our financials into one system was also a big factor.

Our football league switched to Crossbar and it was very functional. For our baseball league it hasn't been quite want I was expecting but it's better than our old service.
