About Crossbar

Crossbar is a next-generation youth sports management platform designed for organizations that want to operate smarter, scale faster, and deliver better digital experiences for families, coaches, and administrators. It’s a complete, cloud-based solution that brings every critical function into one streamlined platform, replacing outdated tools and fragmented systems with a single source of truth.

At its core, Crossbar simplifies complex administrative workflows without compromising power or flexibility. Whether you're managing a local hockey club, a regional soccer league, or a multi-sport association, Crossbar adapts to your structure. Everything from online registration and payment processing to rostering, team communication, scheduling, facility booking, and performance reporting happens inside a cohesive interface built with today’s user expectations in mind.

What sets Crossbar apart is its commitment to modern product principles. The platform is fully cloud-native, ensuring real-time updates, robust uptime, and a frictionless experience across devices. Its mobile-first design means parents can register their kids and check schedules—without ever opening a desktop. Meanwhile,...

admins get clean dashboards with customizable access controls, quick-glance overviews of operations, and tools to manage programs at scale. Crossbar is engineered to help organizations grow without losing agility. Instead of locking you into rigid, predefined structures, it allows for flexible configuration—so you can spin up new programs, invite seasonal volunteers, adjust pricing structures, or launch a tournament without needing IT support. Payment management is intuitive and customizable, enabling split payments, multi-child discounts, and automatic reminders to reduce friction and improve cash flow. Financial transparency is built-in, with exportable reports and detailed insights that help you make data-informed decisions and easily share updates with stakeholders. For tech-forward organizations, Crossbar’s ecosystem doesn’t stop at internal efficiency—it elevates the external experience, too. Your organization’s website is powered by the same system, fully responsive and integrated with your backend. This means when a family visits your site to sign up for a camp, the process is fast, secure, and on-brand from start to finish. No redirects, no login confusion, and no third-party styling issues. The experience is cohesive because it’s all built to work together. And because youth sports never stop evolving, Crossbar’s roadmap evolves too. We listen to customer feedback, prioritize features that save time and drive results, and deliver platform improvements that don’t require painful migrations or expensive upgrades. You won’t find hidden fees, mandatory add-ons, or bloated functionality you’ll never use—just a clean, efficient engine that supports the way you want to run your organization. Whether you’re moving off a legacy system, transitioning from spreadsheets, or scaling beyond what your current platform can handle, Crossbar is built to support you now and grow with you into the future. Trusted by thousands of organizations across the country, Crossbar is transforming youth sports from the ground up—making it easier to manage, more enjoyable to participate in, and smarter at every level. If you're ready to save time, impress your families, and future-proof your operations, it's time to take a closer look at Crossbar. Let's simplify youth sports—together

Nothing its hard to use on the both the app and website and each has different abilities.

Everything, email system is difficult to use and even when you select a few to send on to, it goes to everyone. The ability to find where stuff is hidden in the menus is annoying due to having to look in multiple drop down menus.

Pros:
Crossbar is very easy to use and administer. Our members seem to manage through it easily and are happy with our switch.
Cons:
We were first told that the fees incurred by our members for using crossbar could not be transferred to our members - that we, as a company, would need to pay the user/transaction fees. Later we were told that we actually could transfer the fees to the members but for whatever reason it still has not been set up this way even though we asked for this from the very beginning. This makes it difficult for out non-profit to charge our team registration fees seeing as we also need to add onto that some sort of transaction fee so we do not eat all of the costs to utilize crossbar.

Reasons for switching to Crossbar

Ease of use by our members was the main reason for our switch.

Crossbar Review

[sensitive content hidden] was awesome in helping us transition from League Athletics over to Crossbar. We are still in the early stages of understanding all that Crossbar has to offer but overall I really like the site, the ease of use, and the number of features it brings to our membership.

Pros:
I really like the overall look and ease of navigation of the Crossbar site. Adding content is super easy and provides enough options to really personalize the site. The automatic billing feature is also a big plus for our organization as we have had to track down payments every year.
Cons:
I am relatively new to Crossbar. We will be using it for the first time this fall as the season starts. Up to this point, we are just getting everything ready. I find the membership section a bit clunky. I find myself clicking between the member search and registration pages to find specific information. Would also be good to be able to find and delete duplicates. We were not able to bring over our database of members and past members so we lost a lot of our mailing lists. I understand we can upload them but now we will have duplicates.

Reasons for switching to Crossbar

Our parent organization, CT Hockey Conference, made the switch and we moved with them. Our organization did vote to approve the move as we liked what Crossbar has to offer.
