About GoCodes

GoCodes is a cloud-based asset and inventory tracking solution for small and midsize companies in the accounting, education, construction, engineering and health care industries. Key modules include fixed asset accounting, inventory management, field service request, maintenance management and GPS tracking.

GoCodes has a central database that tracks asset information like maintenance scheduling, cost, depreciation, warranty, check in/out and location. It also updates inventory information by tracking product using smart devices. The GoCodes solution includes patented QR code asset tags and labels. Once the asset tag is scanned, public asset and company information can be viewed, and a message is sent to the company. Employees can log in to view and update asset information as well as check assets in/out using any computer or smartphone.

GoCodes allows users to schedule future appointments and service tasks and then receive automated alerts before the due date. Inventory quantities can also be tracked with automated email alerts when running low on stock. Services are offered on a per user per month/year basis. What is great about GoCodes is that you can look up any piece of equipment and see who has used the equipment and where it is located at last scan.

Cons:

Con is its only as good as the employees using it, or really not using it.

It was easy for us to roll out using GoCodes for our printers, mobile devices, monitors, and tablets. Updating for checking in/out for new users is simple. All of our IT staff are able to use the service with ease.

Go Codes Helpful in SLP setting

We really like the fairly easy system. It was hard to manually track these items.

Go codes is a great way to keep track of assessments of student therapists. They need to share the assessments and this way we know when and where it was used and for how long.

Cons:

I would like to see an easier way to scan or check out items. The layout takes a bit to under stand and use.

I have created, maintained, and completed the data inventory management of tagging, data collection, and tracking of program equipment for our school programs across 10 different campuses. GoCodes has been a tremendous asset to this process to track our purchased equipment in each program.

Pros:

GoCodes is a good product to use for inventory management, tracking of equipment, and maintaining an equipment replacement schedule. The ability to sort, filter, and review data seamlessly is a tremendous option and easily completed.

Cons:

Sometimes the data points that are preloaded in GoCodes can get "wonky" and alter your data results. Improved directions, support, guidance, for using each preset data point would be helpful, even to have a mouseover feature for the full data characteristics of each preset item.

Pros:

Our Marketing team can see what assets are checked out, at which events, and when they are expected. We use GoCodes to show our internal customers the type of event assets they can choose from. We track the condition of assets and where they are stored so we know where to deploy them to. The reporting function is great so that we know what is out in the field still, who it has been assigned to and when we can expect it back.

Cons:

Customer support service could be improved so that it is more timely and efficient.

Reasons for switching to GoCodes

Old interface and it was a legacy product that we did not want to use
