Pros / Cons
  • The feature I appreciated most is how seamlessly everything syncs across devices. Whether you are on my laptop, phone, or tablet, my files are always exactly where I left them, updated in real time without me having to think about it and provide great customer support and value for money.
  • The cons include reliance on internet, potential privacy concerns due to Google's data model, shared storage limits, and occasional speed issues, requiring careful management of security and offline access needs.

  • I like the receipt capture aspect, and the fact that I can store all the receipts in different folders for each employee but I wish there were better options to sort receipts, and that the transfer over to QuickBooks desktop was smoother and had more customization.
  • I have used Neat for many years and approximately 3 years ago I upgraded my subscription to be able to use the QuickBooks connection desktop, my subscription was renewed in February 2024 and on June 15 2024, Neat removed the QuickBooks connection, so I requested to make a downgrade my subscription because I don't see the point in paying for a plan that I don't need, and they informed me that they will not refund my plan because it has been more than 30 days since my subscription was renewed, so Neat stopped providing a service in the middle of my subscription and I am forced to pay for a service that I am not receiving, this doesn't make sense, maybe this is a way for the company to make money.
