Pros:

The most impactful features in ProEst are the formula variables and algorithmic equations you can used to rate your own assemblies. This allows the user to essentially create their own take off software within ProEst. Customization is amazing!

Cons:

ProEst is cloud based. This means you can not use the program while offline; this may not be a problem to most people, however if you do not have internet or would like to work without an internet - you cant.

Love Dealing With Pro's

ProEst is changing how things used to run in construction estimations by introducing morden solutions that help save money and help send on the necessary equipments unlike in the past where money would get lost often or stolen by contractors who used to lie all the time.

As the name suggests ProEst are Pro's in there field of work, making my tasks easy and simple for me. This software save me money so much because am able to create construction estimations at ease and ones that turn out to be effective. They have a friendly and helpful customer support team. This software helps me generate reports and proposals in a simple way.

Cons:

I definitely don't have anything to dislike with ProEst but to give them love for always making my stay with them lovely.

Great Potential

ProEst has a lot of promise, and for large companies with time to properly train staff and set everything up, it could be a powerhouse. But if you’re a smaller shop or not tech-savvy, you might find yourself stuck more often than you’d like.

The Love I Have For ProEst

Overall Its biggest strength is the tight integration between digital takeoff and cost estimation. Changes in quantities automatically update the estimate, drastically reducing errors and manual re-entry.

It has made construction easy for me because i can estimate the budget that am going to use to build or construct a house. The software helps save more using construction estimations which are always accurate. I love how i can also work remotely from home as long as am connected to a stable network. ProEst is easy to use and navigate. It has a user-friendly interface also.

iICON Construction Procore Review

Overall experience – I’d rate this product 8 out of 10 for user functionality. The scheduling module is quite limited, and the estimating and a few other modules remain unused. However, it’s a very capable system for managing vendors and clients and stands out as one of the better platforms I’ve used (including JD Edwards, Sage, Primavera, etc.).

Vendor management, budgets, change events, change management, cost integration, document management, submittal processes, RFI processes

Cons:

1. Too many separate modules instead of the single-page layout available in the 2017 version. 2. The home page no longer provides complete client contact details—only project information, without people or their contact info. 3. Frequent 404 error messages and excessive system downtime. 4. Poor scheduling program; its layout is confusing and difficult for clients and vendors to understand.

Pros:

I found one advantage of ProEst to be that it links digital takeoffs to the estimating feature. I can also measure blueprints on screen and see the respective quantities reflected on my cost estimate even as the auto calculation feature spares me the cumbersome movement between tools.

Cons:

I had a problem when working with the layers and using some shortcuts: some of the files I tried to measure or open blurred and I lost some time waiting for it to load. They impacted me while working with larger blueprint files which contain multiple trade layers.
